At the steak fry, someone asked about how important numbers were for the coaching staff. Chris' answer seemed like the approach was well balanced. The staff uses a few key numbers like Pomeroy's Defensive Efficiency ranking as there is a strong correlation with teams being able to advance in the tournament. Chris jokingly said that many players seem only focus on one number (i.e. scoring) and gave a funny look to Byron.
I forgot if I read in the magazine, but I think the use of video is very sophisticated. You can look at and filter different players, offense/defense configurations etc., all sorts of things ... very efficiently.
