O'Connor was a recent assistant and was also a catcher on Xavier's only NCAA Tournament team when they won the A-10 in 2009.

Well.....that's interesting. I suspect this move will either be a rousing success (he's been the reason for our recent success all along) or an all out disaster (you hired a 30 year old kid with zero coaching experience outside of Cincinnati Metro?!?). I don't expect any middle ground here.
