I know it's old, but I didn't see it anywhere here, and yes you didn't read that title wrong: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2708572-5-star-pg-tyger-campbell-commits-to-depaul-will-reclassify-to-class-of-18

Though a lot can happen in the course of a year, this could be huge for DePaul, new stadium, washing off a bit of mediocrity, and getting competitive in the Big East... most teams in the Big East are heading in the right direction, the conference looks like it's going to be a war for years to come.

I think it is awesome that they are playing in Downtown. I never wanted to go to a game in the suburbs of Chicago, if I want to road trip to Chitown, they have to have a place downtown. Not the optimal real estate for them, but at least easily accessible. I know that I will attend a game there just looking at it. Good for them, and good for us.

DePaul doing what we wished Fordham and Bonaventure would've done back in the day: Making strides in facilities, coaching, and recruiting.

Yup, I appreciate the fact that nobody appreciates mediocrity in the Big East, it might have taken Georgetown a while, but they even got rid of a toxic JTIII, the case is still out on Mullen at St. John's, and what Patrick Ewing can do, but all in all I would say that the entire league is trending upwards.

You mean they're leaving the conference??!!

Making strides in facilities, coaching, and recruiting.

Oh. Well, that too.

I appreciate that DePaul saved our season last year! Thank you sucking so much this team could actually beat you 2 times at the end of the year to secure a bid and get some momentum! Thanks!

Is 5-10 a BE Point? This guy must have a motor, but how will he guard? Who will he guard?

He'd tower over Drew Lavender, and Drew Lavender would have been just fine playing in the Big East.

5' 10" and 155 lbs; agree with Emp. The kid also played prep ball on stacked team. Good player probably but game changer, no way with weaknesses exposed regularly.

Maurice Watson is 5' 10" 165 and he torched X quite a bit

Markus Howard is also 5'10 I think. Cartwright from UoA plays just fine and he comes in at 5'6. The shorter you are the more special you have to be but it's not unheard of.

Hell even look at Isaiah Thomas and what he's doing with his height in the NBA, short guys are quicker and more creative, sure they CAN be a defensive liability like Thomas is, but I could still see this guy doing well for DePaul.

Something in my heart still misses Drew Lavender and that tear drop. He made the Sports Illustrated Cover for the Big Dance but he got injured down the stretch. Before he got injured I could make an argument that he was the best point guard in America. After he got injured he only took us to the Elite 8. The bitch.

Torched is an accurate description.

I remember little Shanta Rodgers getting a double-double off a fine Xavier team. That kid was too small to play, but yet he was raking in the boards like a demon.
