Rhode Island had a 70-58 lead last night at Creighton with 3:14 left to go in the game. They lost 74-73 on a 3 pointer with 3 seconds left.

Rhode Island may have had the biggest meltdown of any basketball team I have ever seen. On February 12, they were 20-4. Then they lost to Temple in overtime, lost to XU by 4 then completely fell apart. They lost 8 out of their last 9 games to finish 21-12. All of that in about 1 month's time.

The were nationally ranked and a lock for the dance. They had some legit talent. Baron is going to have a fun summer indeed. That is an ugly situation.
