CINCINNATI – Mitch Gallagher (http://goxavier.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=4213) hit a walk-off RBI single down the right field line to lead the Xavier baseball team to a 3-2 win over Illinois State on Saturday afternoon.
Xavier won the weekend series, 2-1, and improved to 13-11 on the year. The Redbirds dropped to 6-15 on the year.
