I wasn't mad, screaming/yelling/cussing. House money. This team beat a 6, 3 and 2 seed. If you would have given me that option a month ago, I would have taken it without hesitation.

This team got to the Elite 8 with Mack being a wizard with smoke and mirrors with the zone, Tre playing out of his mind and some contributions from unlikely players. It ended tonight. So be it. Really proud of the team. My chin is up and I'm elated to be a Musketeer.

I was yelling at the TV in the first half. Then the Zags jumped out and extended the lead right away in the 2nd and I was like, oh yeah they are the better team. Oh well. It was a fun ride the last couple of weeks. I'm proud of them and am already looking forward to see how "Team 96" does.

Unforgettable. That's what team 95 turned out to be. From the ups to the downs to the ups again. It was a joy to be a fan of this year's team.

Bernard, in one game you've become a legend (and simultaneously bought future fifth-year transfers a ton of slack). Trevon, you're one of the best scorers to ever put on an X uniform. You introduced us to Park Tudor shots- shots that one should never take but are so pure that the bottom of the net is the only location they find. Gaston, you're the man who needs no fanfare. You're a rock - the last line of defense. The man who does whatever is asked. I commend you for that. You will all be missed.

The rest of you all - I'm excited to see what you in store for our university next year. I wish the next tip-off was tomorrow.

It was a turbulent season and a GREAT March. Something special just happened.

These guys took a lost season, where they could have packed it in, and turned into a year that will hang from the rafters forever.

The difference will be that we will take this momentum and move forward with a coach who will take us to heights we have never seen. Bluiett will be back and will lead this team, along with JP, Sean, Gates, and a freshman class as good as we've ever had to a Big East championship and a final four birth. It is going to happen. I have faith in this group of young men and their leader like no other group before them.
