But, almost no one is going to pick Xavier. If people picking against Xavier bothers you, then you may want to shut yourself in until the game starts. I'm not saying they're right, but I wouldn't say it's any sort of anti-Xavier agenda either. It makes sense to me why almost everyone who isn't a Xavier fan would be picking Gonzaga.

Bothers me not that everyone picks against Xavier! Love being the under dog and blasting teams on the journey to the Elite 8. You know that if/when Xavier makes the Final 4 everyone and there brother will pick against Xavier. Let's March!

Neither has Xavier's... I'll take Gonzaga this year over Duke in 04 and UCLA in 08 10 out of 10 times... Those two teams were STACKED with NBA talent and a future Hall of Famer.

I handle things better now than I did back in 2008. To be honest it's probably because I have so many things going on in my day to day life that are so frustrating that I just don't have as much room to be frustrated by Xavier basketball anymore.

But, that wasn't so much the case in 2008. I did not take this well. And, although I don't get all that frustrated when thinking about it anymore, to this day I believe that this blown no-call kept Xavier out of a Final Four. This didn't get a whole lot of chatter at the time because I don't think everyone really connected the dots, but had this been called TAMU been able to win the game, we would have faced either Western Kentucky or Texas A&M in the Elite Eight, and I think we would have beaten either one of them.

How can you be angry at that statement? I mean, how often does a team have the chance to beat an 11 seed to make the Final Four? Especially one who consistently gets flagged for never making a Final Four. It's a pretty benign and understandable statement.
