Those pictures are awesome. I love seeing Mack's kids and I love that the players are getting to enjoy the Sweet 16. Really happy for the team.

Nice photos. I particularly like the one where Sr. Rose is clearly preparing to kick Jimmy Kimmel in the sack.

When Ed went down I was resigned to feeling like the season was unofficially over. I had no idea that eventually that would free up Trevon to take shots confidently anytime he wanted. Big Sean was dribbling the ball into spin moves before anybody even started guarding him yet, or backing and falling into defenders that weren't there. Now he's been so confident and in control. I thought Gates' knee had to still be sore. It sure doesn't look like it now the way he's moving. I was wondering what Bernard's role was. Now he's going way up high snatching boards and blocking shots. Win or lose tonight, this season has been crazy. Crazy good not crazy bad.

Talk about going through the whole spectrum in one season. From the Top Ten to the basement and now this weekend going to the Final Four!

A season is indeed a lifetime.

Who's getting any work done today? It is very, very difficult.

My son's asshole baseball coach scheduled practice for tonight, and since I'm an assistant coach I have to go. But that's REALLY cutting into my drinking time. There's no harm in bringing a flask to coach 9 year olds baseball, is there?

Pretty sure you can have a nice gatorade bottle mixed with some vodka for that practice.

Article: There’s Much More at Stake This March Than Just a National Title
Link: https://theringer.com/college-basketball-ncaa-tournament-national-title-stakes-3295b8162b13#.aa0yt8qho

Xavier's blurb:

13. Xavier

Let’s not kid ourselves: Xavier’s real goal is to just make the Final Four. The Musketeers have been to two Elite Eights and came up empty in each trip, a track record that’s particularly agonizing considering that those no good sons of bitches from four miles down the road, Cincinnati, have been to six Final Fours and won two national titles. Beyond playing rivalry catch-up, though, a Xavier national title would keep Chris Mack, who is a popular name in coaching-search speculation these days, at the school long term. (To be fair, I think Mack will stay anyway, and he surely would if Xavier reached the Final Four.) It would also help legitimize a program that’s still in the process of washing off the stench of the “mid-major” label it carried for so many years before joining the Big East in 2013.

Most importantly, if the Musketeers won the title, it might be enough to get my grandma to FINALLY stop pronouncing the school’s name “egg-zavier.”

Good old Buttermaker of the Bad News Bears. How could I forget him ? People might have thought I had a few G & V when I reffed hoops. Not true but it was always nice reffing at St.Vinnie where they had a keg in the kitchen for after the games.

Gotta love the SVF Men's Club. There's still a keg around there in one of the back rooms.

I was able to call WFAN in NY today (shocked to get on) and extolled X to Mike Francesa. Mentioned that X (and Big East) did it the right way, no one and done, most 4 year players, etc. Mike said X playing with house money and may get tight, and i ended with Trevon having a Jimmy Chitwood moment as X (and Butler) are the only true "Hoosiers" type remaining. Good luck X

That is pretty cool, I imagine it is very difficult to get through there.

Did Francesa think we were still in the A10?? HAHAHA
