I've made that drive a lot and it certainly can back up, but the risk is worth the savings in airfare IMHO. There are also more airports than just SAC. My point is, don't just look at SJC.

I think Frontier has a one-way flight from CVG to SFO (San Francisco) for about $130 on Thursday morning. Return flights from the Bay Area airports start off at about $300 on Sunday and/or Monday.

My wife just learned they want to offer her a transfer to San Fran, but I think it's much better to visit than try to live in. Staying close to family and away from that housing market and taxes.

Yeah, as much as I enjoyed the visit, if I'm going to be somewhere super expensive, I want fabulous weather! Cold and damp is less than fabulous. Then to live in a shoe box for mansion prices in most other markets....no thanks.

I've got a hotel in San Jose that's about 2 miles from the SAP center that I'm splitting with a friend. We can fit two more in there. Would be about 100 a night if I can get more people in. Anyone looking for a cheaper place to stay, DM me.

I think Gonzaga is quite clearly a better team than WV, but I feel like WV might be a nightmare match up for us if we somehow get there. It would also be a lot easier to stomach a regional final loss to Mark Few than a loss to Bob Thuggins.

We handle full presses (relatively) better than Q handles one guy in his shorts all game. He stood up to the Florida pressure pretty well, and better to than I expected, but yeah, would be anxious. But let's not be looking ahead too far.....

Able to come by good single ticket for me at elite eight game. I am Flying out at 6 am on Saturday. Arrive in San Jose at noon. Game at 6pm. Then fly back to orlando on midnight flight out of San Francisco. ... .then fly out of Orlando back home to indy at 7pm. 6 planes in 24 hours. Crazy, but I am not going to miss this.
