For those of you (like me) who enjoy the CIT, it tips off tonight and all the games will be streamed for free at the link below. They're are only 24 teams again this year. I wish they'd take it back out to 32. It is exclusively for the so called mid-major and low-major conference. It also isn't bracketed, but is instead matched up round by round.

Actually 26 teams. Not sure which I like better, giving 6 teams a round 1 bye or 3 teams a bye in round 2.

Ball State at Ft. Wayne could be interesting. I'm not sure if they hate each other or not, but if they don't, tney should.
I doubt they even know each other.

Is the CBI still around? When I was at SLU they made the finals in that (which is a best of 3) and lost to VCU.

Yes, it is. It is run by the Gazelle Group, and is seemingly open to anyone who wants to pay the entry fee. Not that I'm much of a conspiracy theorist, but that tournament seems to favor schools who have their coaches as clients, and who have something in their contract that gives them a bonus if they make a postseason tournament. As garbage as the CBI is, I guess it is a postseason tournament. It's a postseason tournament for shit teams who are predominantly coached by their clients, but it's a postseason tournament nonetheless.
Here is how bad it is. It is a college basketball event that I don't watch.
