Flatspat was dead on. I thought it would be +2 or possibly as low as even.

Even on the home court, with our depleted PG situation, I'm almost surprised it's not more. Nova is kinda good. I love our team, but we are thin right now where it counts the most. But I don't pay too much attention to this stuff, so what do I know?

I'd give the points. And then hope I lose the bet.

I was thinking about this today and thought it would be about X +5.

I thought it would be at least +6 to be honest. I love our guys, but even last year it took a ridiculous game for them to pull it off and that was with a lot more weapons than they have now

The ol' win either way!

Unless we lose by 3. Then I'll be a "joy to be around" at dinner with the wife Saturday night.

I'm having this discussion in the game thread. I thought it would be 5.5-6.5 because of the frosh PG angle. Oh...and it's down to -3.5.

Frosh PG, with no depth behind him. I get it.

If Butler and Marquette can beat them, I'll be disappointed if X doesn't.

Could be an upset line. Honestly I thought this would be a much easier game without Sumner. Guess not. Nothing against the X, I feel the same about Creighton. Same if we didn't have Brunson.

Up to 5.5. Now I'll have to do something stupid like take Xavier on the ML.

Up to +6 and +220 on the ML. About right where I thought it would be. Wouldn't be surprised if it even goes up to +6.5.

Villanova's starting Center is out against Xavier. Announced on Twitter and hour ago. They have really good talent but only go 7 deep, 6 now with Reynolds out. They are two fouls away from having a rough half. I'm surprised that the line is going in their favor.

Goodin has looked more than capable as the starting PG. Now, if Goodin gets in foul trouble, then X is pretty much screwed.
