Given to the nation's best small forward. He's one of ten finalists. Kelan Martin and Josh Hart are also on the list from the Big East.

Not bad for someone who "isn't athletic enough for the Big East"!

Nice. Also, did we note here that Trevon won Big East Player of the Week (http://goxavier.com/news/2017/1/30/mens-basketball-trevon-bluiett-earns-big-east-player-of-the-week-honors.aspx?path=mbball)? Averaged 30.5 PPG, no biggie.

He hasn't been playing all that well (although still putting up points) in terms of efficiency, shot selection, and turnovers. Basically doing a lot of the bad habits that JP does. That being said, he's currently in line to be 1st team All BE. I think it's hilarious how often Butler and Holtmann do this. I don't believe there's a stat but I swear they have to lead the country in benching starters to "send a message". I feel like it's at least 4 times a year for them. Classic "Butler Way" IMO.. Yeah those 10 minutes in the 2nd and 0-3 performance I'm sure makes the kid feel great

Coach Mack does the same. Think Jordan Crawford vs. UC. Austin and Macura starting at Villanova as freshmen, Etc.

He has been in and out of the dog house all season. There have been multiple games he hasn't started throughout the season. Strange.

IIRC When we played Butler last year I believe Kellen Dunham and other starters were benched at the start
