Anyone who doesnt get it through their provider wont be able to get it through the login either. Basically if you dont have it on your TV you cant get it through their app, unless you are using someone else's login who does have it on their TV like you are doing with your parents.

DTV is for Sunday Ticket, and AT&T is everyday stuff. DTV is spotty and have a fairly simple package, but when they merged it got cheaper to have both. My son in Nashville uses my DTV login to get Sunday Ticket too. I'll pay a little more to see all my Bills games and X games. I learned years ago it's cheaper than going out (with a person or two) to a sports bar. So....... I'll be watching the next game!!!

Actually those are 24/7 streams so you should be able to test it out for yourself any time.

For those unfamiliar with VLC/m3u8 streams:
First, get VLC (https://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html) or a comparable media player.
Next, get your link from xrxs.net - you'll obviously want PAC-12 National. FYI, higher k(bps) = more bandwidth needed. Copy the link address you're provided.
Then, open VLC and go to Media > Open Network Stream..., and paste the .m3u8 link and click Play. Be patient since it may take up to a minute depending on your bandwidth and computer/tablet/etc.
If your stream isn't smooth, try either a lower bandwidth link or go to Tools > Preferences > Show Settings - All (bottom left) > Input/Codecs, scroll down to Advanced and change Network Caching (ms) to 5000. This should help to prevent dropped frames.

If for some reason that doesn't work for you, try streaming directly through their player here:

I signed up for Sling's free 7 day trial. Pac-12 network is on the sports package which is usually an extra $5 a month, but for the 7 day trial all the extra packages are also free except for HBO. Hopefully I won't have any problems cancelling it tomorrow morning.

If you have a Firestick I highly recommend putting Kodi onto it. It's a workaround where basically ALL streamers dump their links. You can get basically any sporting event from anywhere in the world. It just takes some searching to find the proper links through it. And yeah, MLB/NFL/NBA/NHL you name it, every game is in there.

09, this is like a trigger for me... I'm starting to feel like a shill for playstation vue because I've mentioned it a few times on the board now, but I feel like I did a decent amount of research between Vue and Sling when I was trying to decide, so I figure I would share again.

TL;DR = Vue > Sling. If you want to know more, then keep reading...

First off, number of streams. You can watch up to 5 streams of Vue at once on separate devices, but with the "orange" Sling, only one stream at a time, and with "blue" only 3 at a time.

Next, in order to get the Fox Sports/FS1/FS2 channels and ESPN (I know, I know, but it's the way of the world, they have good games), you'd have to buy both Sling packages (they do give you a $5 discount for both, so ends up 40/mo). Meanwhile, the $35/mo package for Vue has both. Also, SEC Network and BTN are included with Vue, but SEC is add'l $5/mo for Sling, and BTN not an option for Sling I believe.

Also, Sling does offer some app logins, but based on this faq (click here (http://help.sling.com/articles/en_US/FAQ/How-do-I-use-Sling-TV-as-authentication-for-another-app)) it DOES NOT appear to offer FSGO login. Vue does work with FSGO, and I have watched several games using it.

Vue has unlimited DVR storage, although things will only stay saved for 28 days. It is truly unlimited... I selected "College Basketball" to record, and it literally records every single CBB game that plays on any of the channels Vue offers, whether Fox, ESPN, BTN, SEC, etc. etc. There are so many damn games on my DVR. At the time I signed up for Vue, Sling did not offer DVR, but I think were in the process of rolling out something (but it was limited in hours).

Note, Sony and Viacom got into a dispute I guess, so Vue no longer carries Comedy Central or other Viacom channels (a couple of which the wife cared about), which does kind of suck, but I still feel Vue is a better value overall than Sling. Note, you do not need a Playstation to subscribe, but you do have to have a "tv connected device" such as apple-tv, amazon fire tv, etc. (i.e., mobile device cannot be the primary account).

Of course, all that being said, Pac12 Network is not available with Vue, so as far as this game goes, it's no help. As far as keeping Sling or not, based on the research I did a few months ago, I believed Vue to be the better deal, and have been quite happy with it.

I can second the love of PS Vue. I've had it for a month and really like it. Every now and then I have problems rewinding On Demand stuff, but it's so rare that it doesn't detract from the overall value.

I've recently signed on to Playstation Vue for the XU games on FS1. And of course ESPN 1 and 2. I think there are big differences in the interface and am not sure which one I prefer.

Last year I did use Sling for January, February, March and April. I had the Sports Extra pkg for $5 and it got you ESPNU and maybe SEC or some others, but no FS1 or FS2. I contacted Sling customer service twice for help, and each time was very good. When I canceled I had zero pushback. It happened within seconds. Notable that during MAJOR sports days, like the NCAA tournament or NBA playoffs, that the stream would struggle at times. This can be a result of several factors, including where you live and your quality of internet service, but it might be Sling's servers too. Overall it was appreciated. I would NOT keep it all year. I can't stand commercials, and most everything on cable has tons of commercials. Thus, I avoid it and stream most programming via Plex, Amazon and Netflix. Watching Xavier and UC games cost me though.

Vue seems smooth so far. I have to go through more steps to watch what I want. I hate that it costs more, but at least I'm getting FS1. Sadly, no Pac12.

The reason I like Gaston isn't his offense (which I'm guessing is going to be contingent on matchups). It's the defense he offers. Could you imagine Reynolds or Farr guarding a point guard out at the three-point line with the clock winding down? Gaston stayed right with him and forced him into a bad shot. Then he can turn around and guard a center using his size and strength.

Also, he's a rebounder on the level of Reynolds, which is a huge compliment, considering where Reynolds ranks in terms of career rebounding rate in recent Big East history.
