Great. I will see what sections are available. 'Have not been to the arena, so not sure about ability to change levels/section.

I eyed that as a potential (long) road trip, but I have to go north to KC for a gymnastics meet instead. I'm jealous of you guys for sure. Bring home a winner!

I half jokingly proposed a trip to Waco to my fiancé a few months back. Since she's not a basketball fan and we're budgeting for a wedding/honeymoon in 2017, I assumed she'd immediately shut it down. However, to my surprise, she loved (and I mean LOVED) the idea and immediately began scouring the internet for hotel rooms.

Sensing something was up, I remained non-committal by giving her the ol "let me check my calendar at work tomorrow" bit...

In total confusion, I called her best friend and asked her why on earth she would be so excited to go to Waco Texas... which up to that point, I knew merely for Baylor sports and David Koresh.

Turns out, the HGTV show she's obsessed with called 'Fixer Upper' is filmed in Waco, and they have a home goods store there. Apparently, women from all over the country are flocking to Waco... like monarch butterflies migrating to Mexico... all for the opportunity to go to this store, stand in line for hours, pay $200 for damn laundry basket and then pay to ship it home.

This same thing could be accomplished in 10-minutes with trip to Wal-Mart for about $15... counting gas.

Women are crazy

We had an interior designer here about an hour ago to help us with some stuff. When my wife initially met her her first words were "my style is Joanna Gaines" (from the show) .

My wife actually looked into it - they remodel then stage the house, but then they take back all the furnishings. You can mess with someone with that tidbit if you're feeling in the mood.

Looks like Baylor still has about 800-1000 tickets available for this game just on ticketmaster and they're selling most of those for 5 dollars each. Pretty surprised they haven't sold this out. Their arena holds about the same as Cintas.

The $5 are for fans 17 and under - other tickets are $10 for upper-deck and $30 for lower-deck seating.

It's a better draw than the Koresh Compound.

I may actually have been able to get my wife to go for this if I'd been on the ball and acted sooner.
