Here's another one from Bristol. Is it just me, or is there always something in ESPN articles that just quite doesn't feel right.
The Big 12 for example only has 10 teams. Oh well, nice to be noticed.

The other day a guy asked me if I was wearing a Cowboys hat. I told him that it was Xavier. Mentioned that they have a pretty good basketball team that he may have heard about.

He said he didn't follow much college basketball outside of the top 10...

I just spent the last 5 days touring prospective colleges in Tennessee, South Carolina, and Georgia. I wore X gear everywhere. There were quite a few X fans/alumni out there I met simply because of the X AND there were so many students who recognized the X and either looked confused about my presence on campus or figured it out and made comments like "wish our team was half as good as X" or "nice team" or something similar. The brand is real. There is something to be said about being the only :logo: out there at this level

In other words he's not a true college basketball fan and his opinion really doesn't matter.
