Congratulations to the women's volleyball team finishing second in the Big East this season. What sucks is the fact that two BE teams got into the tournament, neither of which were the Muskies. BE champ Creighton is in, but so is Marquette who we beat twice at the end of the season incuding the BE semi's.

If you go by RPI, Marquette (#41) was one of the last teams in - Xavier was down at #59. Creighton just missed getting to host 1st and 2nd round games, and I'm guessing Kansas was not pleased to see them in their pod.

As for Xavier, no shame at all in losing to Creighton in the championship - not only were the Bluejays were a perfect 20-0 in the Big East this year counting the tournament, they only lost 5 sets in conference play the entire season.
