We just got confirmation the sitting U.S. President attempted to murder his chief political rival.
If that’s okay with you you’re not okay with me.
That's precisely what it looks like. Just found out the agents who raided Trump were in plain clothes, and drove in unmarked cars. Those bastards WANTED a deadly confrontation.
People on here not taking this seriously. No one ever asks why. They just consume the news and move on.

Not sure about that. Trump is claiming that.
FBI' response:
In a rare statement, seemingly in direct response to the former president’s post, the FBI said that its agents had followed “standard procedure” during the raid.
"The FBI followed standard protocol in this search as we do for all search warrants, which includes a standard policy statement limiting the use of deadly force,” the statement read. “No one ordered additional steps to be taken and there was no departure from the norm in this matter."
Maybe he was unhappy because they noted they had discovered classified documents in his bedroom.

Odds have moved up and down quite a bit, but current odds at Betonline.com in the Presidential race are Trump -130/Biden +150. You can bet up to $2500 on Biden, so this is a legit betting line and not just some small prop bet.

The easiest people to lie to are the ones that want to believe the lie. This is not unique to the left or right. They both believe a lot of bullshit and ignore a lot of facts. The more I think about it, the more alike I'm beginning to think they are.

“This was a very orderly, smooth search of a home conducted by plain clothes FBI agents, escorted by Secret Service agents,” he said.

"The raid by over 30 plain clothes agents from the Southern District of Florida and the FBI’s Washington Field Office extended through the Trump family’s entire 3,000-square-foot private quarters, as well as to a separate office and safe, and a locked basement storage room in which 15 cardboard boxes of material from the White House were stored."

The FBI had arrived around 10 a.m. in plain clothes blending in with the few people who would be present in and around Mar-a-Lago in August.

Not only is Biden using lawfare to eliminate his political opponents, but we have just learned that he and is DOJ were prepared to "use deadly force when necessary" during the Mar-a-Lago.
The newly declassified docs also state that Biden's Gestapo was prepared to "engage with FPOTUS and USSS Security Team".
The FBI even took a freaking medic with them during the raid!
What the bloody hell? This is by far the most outrageous thing in a series of outrageous things this pedophile has done to our country. This is the kind of shit that went down in Hitler's Germany.
What won't these fanatics not do to stay in power? This POS is pushing us towards civil war.
How can anyone in their right mind not see that Biden is acting like a dictator? Biden and Garland must be removed from office immediately. The profoundly corrupt FBI and DOJ must be completely overhauled.

Let's see if we've got this straight.
- the court unseals documents that show even AFTER the FBI search, Trump's attorneys turned over more top secret docs MONTHS after the search
- these included ones found in Trump's bedroom
- on the same day, to deflect attention away from this ongoing lawbreaking, Trump says FBI came to his house to "take me out"
- sycophants repeat his claim and FOX feeds it to it's watchers
- FBI releases copy of instructions...the same one it uses for any search by it's agents
- FBI notes they conducted search on day they knew Trump was out of town
- they came in plain clothes to not alarm the guests
Net result...deflection nonsense works on large part of population despite facts of the case.
Rather than being amazed at the continued lawbreaking of a former president, and efforts to hide documents...people are focused on nonsense claim about FBI.

You know damn well this is - at best (for you) - a very grey area of the law (declassification, Presidential Records Act).
Moreover, we would take you and your lib buddies (on this board, in the media) much more seriously if you believed in equal protection under the law, and showed the same amount of outrage when your side commits the same "crimes". Though the law concerning the president is grey (at best) the pedophile in the Whitehouse was a VP and a Senator when he stole classified docs, which is clearly a felony. Why do you libs give him a pass?
With regards to FBI standards on raids (as if they actually needed to do this to a former prez), I'll believe US Senators, Constitutional Clerks, and former AGs, FBI and Secret Service agents over the pathological liars in Joe Biden's DOJ any and every day.

Could it be because Biden, like former VP Pence, invited the FBI to come in and search their homes, voluntarily returning all documents discovered?
As opposed to actively seeking to keep them, lying in responding to requests, hiding them, causing attorneys to lie on his behalf, having more documents discovered MONTHS after a search conducted, having an attorney not being allowed to claim privilege because of an exception involving crimes?
Hard to imagine one couldn't see the difference...but seemingly some can't.

Hilarious, you mention Pence, but ignore the obvious crimes committed by Hillary and Biden.
Again, you obviously don't understand the law. It really doesn't matter at this point, because it's looking increasingly likely that the case is going to be tossed. Moreover, your boy Jack Smith is coming under legal scrutiny.
BTW:
* If the FBI was so meticulous in following standard protocol, why did they stage photos of the "crime scene"?
* If Jack Smith's case was so 100% tight, why did he tamper with evidence?

Exposing Biden's dirty lawfare part 2:
Julie Kelly - doing the job the MSM is supposed to do - was at the fake Trump docs trial in Fla today. She's been to most, if not all the hearings/proceedings throughout this case, and has reported extensively on it.
"Spent most of the day at Ft. Pierce federal courthouse to cover two hearings in classified docs case.
Special Counsel team's frustration with Judge Aileen Cannon is really evident.
And it's glorious.
David Harbach, one of Smith's lead prosecutors and usually a cool customer in court, had a series of mini temper tantrums this morning. At times pounding his fist on the podium and clapping his hands in anger to emphasize a point, Harbach was totally unprofessional, demeaning, and petulant.
Cannon asked Harbach to "calm down" during one diatribe about accusations DOJ threatened one of the defense attorneys to get his client to flip on Donald Trump.
He kept trying to argue with her--Cannon also remains measured most of the time and is no fan of antics--and when she asked him a question about an issue, he shot back "that's not the right question."
A few reporters in the media room even gasped.
Harbach is flailing bc his case is imploding.
DOJ never thought their dirty, sloppy, corrupt tricks would see the light of day. Biden regime never thought information such as the FBI's operations order related to MAL raid that included lethal force guidance would ever be made public.
But Cannon is systematically dismantling this case by holding hearings (like today) and ordering the unsealing of key motions and evidence. She is a one-woman wrecking crew and Smith's team knows there is very little they can do about it.
And she is nowhere near finished. Just this week, in addition to the unsealed motions posted yesterday that revealed details about the MAL raid, Cannon ordered the unsealing of several motions filed earlier in the case."

Whether you feel that way or not is besides the point. It still added to our overall deficit. Really I’m a two issue voter at this point.
1. Fix the healthcare system. I work in this area and everyone is making money hand over fist, every step of the way. Employers, consumers are getting effed and the system wants you to be sick and lazy.

In terms of healthcare, the problems go far beyond what immigrants bring in. Hospitals, Insurance Companies and their PBMs are the main culprits in all of this. This is just a study below but points to some clues on our health systema and immigrants. Moreover, undocumented are a very small part of any type of drain on our healthcare system. Why? Because they fear deportation.

Forget any narrative that supports any agenda on this illegal invasion. The reality created by it is undeniable.
The O'Biden open border has allowed approx 10 million to enter. A low estimate is that 15 million illegals were already here. To suggest that 25 million illegals are not severely impacting our healthcare system in both COST and ability for healthcare workers to treat them, is beyond ignorant. Medicaid or no insurance at all...for the vast majority.
There are studies estimating a National economic hit at 500 BILLION ANNUALLY for food, housing, education, healthcare, cash entitlements and additional social services. One study estimates just the crime "costs" of these illegals in the hundreds of millions.
Devastating to both the Healthcare crisis and the already absurd deficit.
Any attempt to white wash this disaster is foolish.

Illegals can't get medicaid unless its absolutely an emergency situation, which as described in that article is only in completely dire straits. and no insurance?...again, they risk deportation. Why would they go to the hospital, doctor for that risk?
500 billion, really? Come on man. Think about that for a second and just use some common sense, and know that's absurd. It's not nothing, I'm not ignorant to believe that, it does cost a significant amount of money, and it's something that does need to be fixed.
I'd just encourage you to also read the other side once in a while to get the full scope of the situation and realize it's not all black and white. You digest one side of the story over and over.
BTW, I'm not "supporting" any agenda on what you call an "illegal invasion." I'm just saying those two things that I listed in my original post, has been caused by our own doing, and illegals entering the country is a drop in the bucket compared to what we have already done with those two broken "systems."

1. Fix the healthcare system. I work in this area and everyone is making money hand over fist, every step of the way. Employers, consumers are getting effed and the system wants you to be sick and lazy..
Your boy Obama created this mess. His system was meant to crush the little guy, especially small business owners and self-employed. Also, during the Covid fiasco, you stood up for top-down government intervention that blocked all other solutions not approved by the elites - those who ultimately got it all wrong, from nutrition to exercise to unapproved remedies.
"system wants you to be sick and lazy" - no shit!! That's exactly how they managed the damn pandemic. What, are you now reading Berenson?
You fought me and others tooth and nail on all of this in the Covid thread. One wonders what you really believe. One wonders when you're telling the truth.
2. Clean up our deficit. At some point, the bill is going to come due.
Gee, I thought only right-wing nutjobs thought that there was a limit on spending...

The Border Patrol loses out once again, as Republicans vote down the bill they helped to write, to address the issues at the border.
Nice job.
(Somewhere Trump is laughing his ass off)
So…
There is no major immigration border problem when Biden takes office. This despite the fact that the Democrats fought Trump on every move he made.
Biden takes office then screws up the border.
Then Biden and you blame the Republicans for not bailing Biden out of his own self created problems?

For the record, for those of you who don't understand the reality of the economics of the ACA:
In 2014, the last year before being forced onto Obamacare (remember: there was a grace period), my wife and I paid $3326 in premiums.
* (no, we didn't get to keep the plan we liked, nor the doctors we liked, despite Obama's promises)
2015: first year on ACA - premiums more than doubled to $6779.
2024: We are now paying $22,684.
* 2015 thru 2024 we have been on Bronze plans, and nothing else has changed in our personal health. So, these numbers are apples to apples.
So, our premiums have increased 582% since 2014. Inflation, BTW, has only increased by 34% during that same time period, according to the BLS calculator.
Tell me how the ACA is a good thing?

So, pointing out that this invasion is costing the American taxpayer 4-5 BILLION PER YEAR to support these illegals is a "Trump talking point"? No man. The trump talking point is saying they just walk into the country and start getting free shit and that it costs us 500 billion a year. The fact is they don’t get Medicaid without the provisions I stated. They don’t receive snap (food stamps) , they may get wic ( the children and women program) if they are eligible. Yes they do get education (thank goodness). And yeah I work in the health care field, I know how things work, and I presented articles that you choose to ignore because it doesn’t support your narrative. Illegals crossing the country is not the trump talking point, the extremes to which you then take it, that they are all freeloaders and murderers is the trump talking point you are continuing to reference. You ever actually met any asylum seekers? Based upon your comments here, I really doubt it.
All I’m saying is that maybe think about the other side of the coin every once in a while, think about the possibility that maybe everything trump and his buddies say is exaggerated 100 fold, and maybe not live in your box of fear that trump feasts on to gain votes.

First of all, Xup states:
There are studies estimating a National economic hit at 500 BILLION ANNUALLY for food, housing, education, healthcare, cash entitlements and additional social services. One study estimates just the crime "costs" of these illegals in the hundreds of millions.
I have no idea if the $500B is correct or not, but very little of that is handed directly to illegals. Rather, it's given as freebies, by local, state and Feds. Moreover, a large percentage of that figure is born out of direct and indirect costs. Such as border patrol, fencing installation, temp housing facilities at the border, transportation to the interior (including, flying them directly from their home countries), food and housing provided at their destinations, education, crime, etc..
Yes, absolutely, US citizens are paying for healthcare for illegals in many ways, including Medicaid:
* Healthcare is absolutely 100% being provided to illegals at emergency rooms who use multiple forms of fraudulent IDs to skip payment.
* Florida hospitals alone had racked up hundreds of millions of dollars in costs for uncompensated care to migrants, DeSantis noted—and the state had to subsidize those services: https://www.city-journal.org/article/illegal-immigrations-terrifying-cost
* California becomes first state to offer health insurance to all undocumented immigrants: https://abcnews.go.com/Health/california-1st-state-offer-health-insurance-undocumented-immigrants/story?id=105986377
* Twenty-six states make immigrants eligible for state-funded benefit programs. Most of these states either offer assistance to families or provide access to healthcare to otherwise uninsured immigrants: https://immigrationforum.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/Immigrants-and-Public-Benefits-FINALupdated.pdf
* Services provided to illegal immigrants include transitional and medical care, refugee support, programs for survivors of torture, emergency supplemental assistance and millions of dollars for minors, which are classified as Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC). Underaged migrants also receive costly extended services such as housing, schooling, recreational activities, legal help, and even long-term foster care for those who cannot be placed with family.: https://www.judicialwatch.org/20-billion-to-welcome-illegals/
* New York, a sanctuary city since 1989, spent $8 million a day throughout much of this year to care for migrants, including housing some 3,000 families in hotels for hundreds of dollars a night. Massachusetts—where liberal cities like Boston and Cambridge have also proclaimed themselves sanctuaries—scrambled last year to expand its shelter system to meet the influx. The projected bill for taxpayers: nearly $140 million, thanks to “the federal government’s inability to address our country’s immigration challenges,” then-governor Charlie Baker, a Republican, charged. Several Democratic states, including California, Illinois, and New York, have expanded access for illegal immigrants to social programs like Medicaid, deeming it humane. They now face eye-watering unanticipated bills, as illegals deluge the system: https://www.city-journal.org/article/illegal-immigrations-terrifying-cost
* State and local social spending on migrants is exploding. In a 2021 lawsuit filed by Texas against the Biden administration after it froze deportations of illegals, the state listed $850 million of extraordinary costs due to illegals—including more than $579 million annually at public hospitals for uncompensated medical care and more than $30 million in prenatal care: https://www.city-journal.org/article/illegal-immigrations-terrifying-cost
* According to Newsweek: The total net cost of illegal immigration on states and residents exceeds $100 billion
Here's le piece de resistance:
"It's an intensive, laborious process because the states do not intentionally keep information, or are hiding it, if you will, to state taxpayers for these direct and indirect fiscal costs," Stein said.

(Part 2 of 2)
Here are several other examples of how we pay for illegals:
* New York will offer one-time payments of up to $15,600 to undocumented immigrants who lost work during the pandemic. The effort — a $2.1 billion fund in the state budget — is by far the biggest of its kind in the U.S.: https://www.nytimes.com/2021/04/08/nyregion/covid-relief-undocumented-workers-nyc.html
* The nation’s two largest cash assistance programs for low-income workers are the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and the Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC). Despite their names, both programs are cash payments, not tax refunds. Millions of illegal immigrants have Social Security numbers (SSNs), potentially allowing them to receive cash payments from the EITC and ACTC. Illegals without SSNs who have U.S.-born children are also allowed to receive the ACTC by using an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN). Based on their income and number of U.S.-born children, we estimate that illegal immigrants may receive between $3.8 and $4.5 billion from the two programs. This is in addition to the $4.4 billion we have previously estimated illegals likely received in stimulus checks this year: https://cis.org/Report/Estimating-Illegal-Immigrant-Receipt-Cash-Payments-EITC-and-ACTC
* According to a Fox News Digital review of state and local programs, Democrat governors and mayors earmarked at least $517 million for the programs, which generally consisted of providing cash payments to individual illegal immigrants. The funding reviewed by Fox News Digital was drawn from the American Rescue Plan (ARP), the $1.9 trillion federal COVID-19 stimulus package President Biden signed into law in March 2021: https://www.foxnews.com/politics/dem-states-cities-overrun-migrants-funneled-millions-federal-covid-19-aid-support-illegals
* Clark County (Las Vegas) provides all kinds of help to illegals: https://www.clarkcountynv.gov/residents/assistance_programs/undocumented_immigrant_resources.php
* Texas also reported spending about $150 million a year on incarcerating criminal migrants, and up to $63 million to educate unaccompanied immigrant minors now domiciled in the state: https://www.city-journal.org/article/illegal-immigrations-terrifying-cost
* To help house these individuals, the city has bought accommodations in more than 100 hotels and other facilities, including a $237 million deal the city signed with the Hotel Association of New York City Foundation to provide rooms—in some cases, at more than $200 per night: https://www.city-journal.org/article/illegal-immigrations-terrifying-cost
* By June 2024, New York City anticipates, as many as 70,000 migrants will be receiving services, at a cost over the next two years of several billion dollars: https://www.city-journal.org/article/illegal-immigrations-terrifying-cost
* Minnesota Democrats are pushing forward with a $500 statewide guaranteed basic income plan that critics have argued would give free money to undocumented migrants. The new statewide legislation, known as HF 2666 and introduced on March 8, would provide $500 monthly payments for 18 to 24 months "to eligible recipients in order to disrupt poverty, build wealth, advance equity, and support a recipient's basic needs.": https://www.newsweek.com/minnesota-ubi-500-month-new-bill-migrants-1879606
* Early in 2023, outgoing mayor Lori Lightfoot said that the city had spent more than $50 million on housing, food, and other services for the newcomers—which it wanted the federal government to reimburse. Several months later, the city allocated another $51 million for immigrant services: https://www.city-journal.org/article/illegal-immigrations-terrifying-cost
* Washington State Democrats funneled hundreds of millions in tax dollars to over 100,000 illegal immigrants to circumvent the federal government. The funds were intended for COVID relief as part of the American Rescue Plan Act, but the state purposefully used the funds for illegal immigrants. The Jason Rantz Show on KTTH previously reported that COVID relief tax dollars were being misused to pay up to approximately 223,000 illegal immigrants living in the state. A new report from the Economic Policy Innovation Center (EPIC) said $340 million was doled out through 2023: https://mynorthwest.com/3949335/rantz-washington-dems-diverted-460m-illegal-immigrants-tax-dollars-2023/

The fact is they don’t get Medicaid without the provisions I stated. They don’t receive snap (food stamps) , they may get wic ( the children and women program) if they are eligible. Yes they do get education (thank goodness). And yeah I work in the health care field, I know how things work.
Man you're dense.
The consensus # is 10 MILLION since 1/20/21 and 95% of the video I've seen shows them walking right in. Even if they are cutting thru razor wire, crawling thru a hole in a wall or swimming a river...they end up WALKING. The other 5% shows them being discovered hidden in back of smugglers trucks, with a few clips of them getting off of AIR BIDEN jets that are FLYING THEM IN!! You know how things work, do you know of other ways they are entering illegally?
Now, the GOP study from a variety of sources estimate the cost created by 10 MILLION illegals at roughly 4.5 BILLION per year. Why so high you ask? Here's a big reason. Because the vast majority entered the country FLAT BROKE, with no money and no legal way to get some. How are they eating 'ville? You know how things work.....how do they have a roof over their heads? How are they getting medical services when they get sick/injured/pregnant? Who pays for their initial and ongoing transportation needs? Who is paying for the cell phones they all seem to have? Where is the money coming from to pay for all this? WHERE? Just some brief answers on "how things work" with no spin or deflection.....keep it simple.
So again, voicing the obvious destruction caused by the above reality is somehow a "Trump talking point"? DJT and his over the top hyperbolic style has nothing to do with anything I've posted. Stop gaslighting.

I already stated what the trump talking points were. You calling me dense while not comprehending or apparently reading what I said is really something.
I never once disputed the 10 million number, you are arguing with yourself on that point. So now the money is 4.5 billion? I thought it was 500 billion? Pretty big discrepancy. Never said they aren’t helped in some ways, but you mentioned food stamps (they aren’t eligible for those), Medicaid (not eligible federal, and most states they can’t get that either) etc etc.
Yes they are helped emergency wise at hospitals, and their kids gets education (thank goodness). You and your trump talking points believe they are all freeloaders and murderers.
Again I ask, you ever met one asylum seeker in your life? From what you state, I really doubt it. You might learn something.

That is absurdly hilarious. What's a measly 50 BILLION in the scope of this wonderful investment. It certainly says a lot about where you are politically.
Can you simply not always deflect and spin? My post is full of questions that are not rhetorical. You always sell yourself here as someone who "knows how things work". So can you answer some of the above questions directly to back that up?
BTW....that 500 BILLION will be dwarfed when some of the O'Biden Islamic " NEWCOMERS" do what they came here to do.
Now THAT is a Trump style "talking point"!

If never say Aca is a good thing. It has good and bad components. The good was pre existing conditions was elminated and it got a lot more people on insurance which is good for them, bad for us.
Healthcare is expensive but aca isn’t really the reason. The public is partly to blame, but it’s mostly the insurance companies and pharma/Pbms that are bending us over without lube.
There is enough blame to go around with all parties involved (integrated systems as well) on the bad stuff with ACA. This is what happens when you get into bed with the government.
Attached is a funny South Park skit.
https://youtu.be/VAfy26xs6e0?si=oOb-VeFoy21xDFRl
I too thought the Pharma companies were the bad guys and gouging patients about 10-15 years ago. Decided to do my own homework back then and found out pharma made up only 9-10% of the overall healthcare costs. Today it’s still around 9%.
Are drugs still too damn expensive? You betcha, but so is everything else. The ACA just accelerated the curve on the system. Especially for mid to upper mid class folks as you stated.

I’m now seeing employers where their pharm costs are upwards of 20-25% of their overall medical costs. It’s gotten insane

A big part of the RX cost increases are the PBMs. They “negotiate” the prices with the pharmacies and insurance companies, while at the same time promising rebates back to both based on what medications are prescribed. All the do is add overhead to the process. Let the insurance companies negotiate directly with the manufacturers. If you talk with people in those industries, they’ll admit, off the record, that costs would go down if that were to happen, but the lobbying money is too big for everyone to ignore.
This is one place where, and I hate to actually say this, the federal government should get involved. Why should the US be paying the highest drug prices on the planet? The same meds, from the same manufacturers, are much more expensive here than in Canada, Mexico, or Europe, probably Asia, too, but I’ve never come across an analysis of that.

This is true. The pbms make profit off each step of the entire process and they are really good at hiding their profits and manipulating the system.

Asylum seekers? 10 MILLION poor desperate Asylum seekers? Now you have totally exposed yourself. Only leftist use that term to describe this mass illegal invasion. It's the original, and ONLY..."Talking Point'...used by this administration to justify allowing this disaster. When O'Biden sent out the invitations on 1/21/21 it read, "Asylum seekers wanted". You're either naive and gullible or just stupid.
As far as the $500 BILLION? You act like that's my prediction of the cost! There are numbers being thrown around by various sources. I just posted one and you tried to school me with the 'ol "do the math". So I posted the GOP study at $450 BILLION and you labeled it a partisan fantasy. You then embarrassed yourself by asking me to explain the $50 BILLION discrepancy. I don't know what to tell you, other than it's more complicated to put an number on, than a good size WAR......which it is. Let's just go with $450 BILLION until we have to adjust for an Islamic/CCP terror attack, OK chuckles?
What ever the number it is a devastatingly absurd amount and certainly not a "false premise". Just post your answer to my basic question, Chuckles........" Where is this money coming from ?".

Sorry, it took awhile. Just finished typing this answer for your "Dear Abby" style question. "Have I ever met an "Asylum Seeker?".
I have made acquaintance and interacted with probably hundreds of Hispanics, but their "Asylum Seeker" status never came up in the conversation. Mainly because...I don't speak SPANISH! I have even supervised a good number in various ways.
My Dad bought a farm in Mason Co KY in the 90's. He wanted to put in several acres of tobacco and I helped him early on. When it was time to cut, he was able to secure the services of 6 "Mexicans" to cut, strip and hang the crop. These are very skilled individuals that needed very little direction. Dad set them up in a old mobile home on the property and I would load them up in the pick up and take them to Maysville for their supplies weekly. This was a yearly event until I relocated in 1998. "Asylum Seekers?'....probably not.
In '98 I moved to Nyack NY and quickly became the manager of a "Blockbuster" style video store. Here I interacted with thousands of customers, staff and vendors, many of which were a variety of ethnicity. I got to know my employees fairly well. I guess there had to be a Seeker among them, but none revealed that to me.
On to the Poconos in 2000, where we bought a house and all 3 of my kids were born. I was a maintenance shift supervisor at the Pocmont Resort. Here is where I had the most personal interaction with foreigners. The resort hospitality staff was nearly all Hispanic. Being in maintenance, I interacted with all of them and some of these folks spoke fluent English. Got to know some of the housekeeping/kitchen staff and made friends with some. Used to hangout quit a bit. The subject of Asylum never came up to my knowledge.
So, what's your point? I will answer that for you. It's not about me, it's your annoying, and continuing, attempt to present yourself as some compassionate and feeling individual full of understanding. Stop posting this happy nonsense. Your Country is being INVADED.
Are there huge numbers that are applying for Asylum? Absolutely,. Mostly because O'Biden let that be known to be the "Secret Password". Try posting some concerns about the Drug/Human smuggling this disaster has allowed. Maybe some concern of violent gangs bolstering their ranks. Get out of the Rose garden 'Ville. Wake up.....your on the Titanic.

Huh? so all these immigrants worked. That's weird. I thought they were all freeloaders and murderers? I wonder how they ate, had housing, etc? You've made my point.
Remember that this all started because you felt the need to make some asinine non-linear statement about how illegal immigrants make our deficit and our healthcare system 10 million times worse when I stated those are the two things that need to be cleaned up fist before anything else. 4.5 billion dollars annually is an absolute drop in the bucket when speaking on both of those issues.

Made TWO critical typos......bought the Pocono house in 2000 and it's $450 BILLION. Made the corrections because that is paramount in addressing your response.
This was TWENTY FIVE or more, years ago. The hundreds of Hispanics I worked with were US citizens, LEGAL immigrants, Green card holders, seasonal work permit holders or, if there were any, properly vetted Asylum seekers. These folks were making money LEGALLY and in a lot of cases on a payroll. Any ILLEGALS that I encountered were among the thousands of customers, to which I had no knowledge of their status.
These were the "Illegal ALIENS" days. TOTALLY different situation than what has created our current catastrophe.....and you know it! So stop being combative dumb ass. Illegal freeloaders were deported and illegal murderers were locked up back in normal times.
To bring up THAT situation, all those years ago, and try to argue equally to this CURRENT invasion...is blatent spin and deflection stupidity.
10 MILLION have crossed and are HERE. Documentation is questionable, little to no vetting or Med screens required. This mass of questionable humanity has crossed the O'Biden welcome mat in 3 1/2 years. At an estimated cost of $450 BILLION for just ONE of those years.

I expect him to be convicted of something. I also expect him to have it overturned on appeal. I think the judge and DA have left the window wide open for that. I also don’t think they care. They just want the initial conviction so it will hurt Trump in the election.
If I understand the jury instructions correctly, the judge said the jury doesn’t have to be unanimous in the underlying misdemeanor crime, which is necessary in order to convict him of the alleged felony. So, some of them could think he’s guilty of misdemeanor A, while others don’t think he’s guilty of that. Those jurors could think he’s guilty of misdemeanor B and the others not think he’s guilty of that. Yet, that’s good enough? I’m sorry, but that’s some serious bullshit.

I'll take an L on that one..I thought the guy was a complete buffoon during the campaign. In the sad state of affairs that is US politics, he seems to be one of the 10% with common sense and not blindly loyal to an ideology/party. Color me surprised but I wish others would take his lead.
Also- I would take 10 Joe Biden's over Vlad Putin.

And the jury is still out...
Of the four criminal cases against Trump that are set to go to trial, the only one that has gone to trial is the one that I feel is the most ridiculous. He had sex with a porn star and paid her to stay quiet. Okay, perhaps that's not a nice thing to do, and I can understand his wife not liking that, and it probably is illegal to some extent, but to me that doesn't seem like the kind of thing someone should go to federal prison for. I know that I'm oversimplifying it, but my point is this is by far the least important and least concerning of the four trials. Who cares!!??

You're not wrong, and it is kind of pathetic how that does seem to be the only goal, but here's the thing...
THE OTHER THREE CASES ARE LEGIT!!!! WHY NOT PRESS THOSE!!!! It's been FOUR YEARS! And the one that they do bring to trial after all that time is that he banged a porn star and paid her to be quiet?? WGAF!!!??? Not the alleged insurrection, or the stealing classified documents, or a plan to cheat the election. Not those.
"Oh! We got him banging a porn star and paying her off!!"
Uhhh...okay??
There are all kinds of videos of that type of stuff all over the internet. None of them are in jail for it. Nor should they be.

Not to mention the lead prosecutor in the trial is former number 3 guy at Biden’s DOJ. Optics here are definitely bad.
Like you said earlier, this case will give a black eye to the justice system. And for what, so Joe can campaign on he’s running against a convicted felon. Also it brings people back to questioning the legitimacy of the 2016 election. Good times.

They are being pressed. The defendant is delaying the DC case with his immunity claim, that may be a claim in Georgia.
The courts (especially the Supreme Court are helping him in that regard)
The slam dunk case of stealing government secrets and refusing to turn them over has been delayed by the judge he appointed, so that it'll happen after the election.
The NY trial is vaguely reminiscent of Al Capone. I'm sure he did lots of worse things than tax evasion...but that's what they got him for.

For what are technically nonviolent offenses for a first-timer? I wouldn't expect him to see jail time here, but I could definitely see an ankle bracelet/some version of house arrest being in the cards here. Sentencing is still 6 weeks away, although that will be right before the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee. Fun times there.
I have no doubt that the documents case is being dragged out by a friendly Trump judge, but I have no clue how long it will take the Supreme Court to either accept/reject Trump's immunity claim or kick it back to the lower courts for another round. In a way, running out the clock was Trump's main strategy in all 4 of his cases. He just ran out of chances in New York State.

The defense was operating with one hand tied behind their back. Things they wanted to present were prohibited by the judge. Objections they raised to questions or testimony by the prosecution were denied. Did any of Stormy Daniels’ testimony about the sexual act that allegedly took place have any direct relevance to the crime being adjudicated? Of course not! It was done, and allowed, purely to prejudice the jury against Trump.
Can anyone justify the judge’s jury instructions saying that they did not have to be unanimous in the underlying misdemeanor, which was required, in order to find Trump guilty of the felony? I’m sorry, but that’s some serious banana republic bullshit right there.

Your candidate:
- bankrupted casino
- ran a sham university for which he paid back millions
- ran a sham charity which he had to reimburse people for, shut it down, and is prevented from running another
- cheated on his pregnant wife, but supposedly carries the banner of "christian nationalism"
- dishonors our military by calling them suckers/losers and wonders why anyone would join
- claimed bone spurs to avoid the draft
- is rated unfit for office by dozens who actually worked for him, many inside the white house and secretaries of government branches
- incited an insurrection against the government for which hundreds are now in jail
- was impeached twice
- is an adjudicated sexual abuser
- brags about his mistreatment of women, yet is supported by supposed christians
- retained government secrets and instructed lawyers and others to help do so
- is awaiting trial on 2 federal and one state indictment
- is a convicted felon
Why are you not embarrassed that this is the best you can do?

Whose reality are you referring to, Paul?
Biden's overall approval rating stands at an abysmal 37-40% depending on which poll you read
65% of the country believes we are heading in the wrong direction...65%
59% of Americans believe this administration is handling the economy poorly
60+% of Americans disapprove of this administration's foreign policy
62% disapprove on immigration
There are others, but I think you get the drift. Your statement is so detached from reality..it's pretty remarkable. This POTUS and administration are one of the most unpopular in US history. Whose reality are you referring to, Paul?
Actual reality, not people's perceptions noted in polls that are influenced so strongly by the media.
Real wages are up more than inflation, but people have been convinced that the economy is bad.
The pandemic supply chain disruptions hurt all of us. But we have recovered.
Here's just one example to help you understand how that works.
The news media and Republicans are all about our rising violent crime rate, and how it's the worse it's ever been.
Trump:
“Wouldn’t we love to have a statistic where crime is down 67%? Ours is only going in one direction.” He pointed sharply upward with his hand.
Nancy Mace: “
Since Joe Biden took office, crime has skyrocketed across our country.”
This is the reality of violent crime. It's still a big problem for sure, but we're a lot better off than we use to be.
We're actually 1/2 of what we were in the 90's.

Welp, there it is. Thanks for clarifying what most people on this board pretty much knew about you. You are basically saying that 65% of the country is stupid...thank God you and your ilk are in the 35%. That is the exact mentality that produced a populist candidate like Trump. You're smart enough to understand that, yes? The economy works different for different people. For the overwhelming majority of Americans, this economy is not working.
The personal savings rate for everyday Americans is around 3.4% and that's down from 5.2 which was just a year ago.
Per household credit card debt is about $8500 which is up from $5900 in 22'
Personal bank account balances are down 10-15%
The majority of people have less money.
All of this is happening while housing costs, education costs, food costs, vehicle costs and household energy costs are at historic highs. That's not perception, my guy. That's the reality that most Americans are experiencing right now. Come out of your gated lifestyle and you'll actually get to see the reality that people are living in.

Wow while typing, Joe just took his first swing to state Trump was convicted on 34 felonies during a Middle East talk. You can’t make this shit up if you tried!

Hur said it during his press conference as the justification for not bringing charges.
I’m sure you support the release of the tapes of Biden’s interviews. Right?
Why do you need the tapes if you have the verbatim transcript? So you can focus on some pause in Biden's speech and go batshit crazy?
As to his press conference, why did the notes from the meeting where he said Biden had a photographic understanding not make it into his official report? When you have something so remarkably inconsistent to his comments in a press conference, it does not inspire faith in the report.

That is my biggest fear. Who is going to sign up to work for his administration the second time around.
More like who's going to be allowed to work in his administration. Hell, the RNC is now all but officially a political arm of the Trump Organization with Lara Trump running the show. Whether or not she's still in charge after the GOP loses the Presidency, Congressional seats and state legislative seats after 2024 is another question.
When the John Kasichs and Mike DeWines and Larry Hogans of the world are about to retire into the sunset and potentially be replaced by people like Vivek Ramaswany and Kari Lake, the GOP will only sink further.

I think he's paid the back taxes due; not sure.
As to the gun case, if he broke the law, he should pay for it.
Here's Fox's Trey Gowdy (former prosecutor) on the gun case:
“I don’t think Donald (sic) Trump ought to be singled out for a crime that no one else has been prosecuted for, and, I was a gun prosecutor — we never prosecuted addicts for lying and buying on federal forms,” Gowdy said. “So, I don’t think Hunter Biden ought to be singled out either. Go after him on taxes, go after him on corruption. But I’d be curious how many people were prosecuted for being an addict in possession of a firearm, and I’ll bet it’s less than 10 in the last 12 months. I don’t think people ought to be singled out because of their last name. Treat him like you would ‘Hunter Smith,’ even though it’s Hunter Biden.”

Just like Fox paying $787 million for promoting lies, now we've got this:
The publisher of @DineshDSouza's election conspiracy theory film and book "2,000 Mules" has issued an apology to a Georgia voter accused in the film of illegal voting in the 2020 election.
"There will be no future distribution of the film or the book by Salem."

Nothing other than him being 10-1 to serve prison time before 2025. Trump is now -140 to win in November. Was -130 before the verdict.

Am I the only one that sees this as being completely inconsequential? It’s small potatoes compared to the other charges he’s facing that are actually legitimate, he isn’t likely to go to prison for it, and it does nothing to hinder his chances of winning the election. If anything, it probably strengthens his campaign.

Perhaps the problem is if there is no immunity it creates a massive problem for current, past and future POTUS’s.
For example, Biden can be charged for restarting the student loan forgiveness program in violation of the Constitution and be personally charged by Texas for crimes at the border.
Be careful what you wish for.
