This Dem made disaster is absolutely horrific and can only get worse.
https://www.yahoo.com/news/without-opportunities-migrants-nyc-stuck-004045142.html
This nightmare should be the primary focus of right wing media. The MSM wing of the Democrat Party certainly won't.
The Biden border policy is the quickest and most effective way to do serious, and basically irreversible, damage to the country. Fox should have LIVE border coverage everyday, along with a deluge of stories on the ground in places like NYC. The American people deserve to see this up close and personal.
This is one of the primary reasons so many like minded folks stay pissed off. How in the hell can anyone vote Blue in 2024?

Our southern border is an extremely complicated proposition that has been an issue for multiple decades. No one has fixed it or really has a plan to fix it that would actually work. That article actually points to a far greater travesty by this admin imo in how we left Afghanistan.

Build a wall or 2 walls for extra fortification, increase border security both with man power and resources such as drones and other types of surveillance technology. Could all be paid for by not pumping billions of dollars into Ukraine. Deter migrants and the amount of illegal drugs being smuggled into the country.

I’m not really worried about migrants or asylum seekers entering the country and wanting to work like that article was referencing. I’d rather the money be spent on adding head count at the border to get people vetted out quicker and to work. That’s where imo the amount of money needs to be spent.
Criminals are going to get in, especially Mexican drug cartels. Not so sure they are going to be deterred. I’m sure there are things that can be done, but I doubt a wall is going to keep criminals out. Not saying do nothing, but I don’t think it’s that simple.

Every dollar given to Ukraine expands the war. The more the war expands, the more people die. The more Russians die at our hands, the closer we are to a war with Russia. Russia is allied with China. Which means WWIII.

Incredible incompetence? Or malice in Maui?
A terrifying fire struck Maui in 2018.
Officials were warned of a repeat.
"West Maui groups and activists had been “begging and begging and begging” for disaster planning, including more emergency management funds and more fire stations, said Joseph Pluta, the head of the West Maui Taxpayers Association. In September 2018, the nonprofit created a draft plan to better prepare the area for disasters, using a state-provided template for residents. Pluta said the county declined to participate, so the plan never went anywhere."

I can’t wait to see what serious legal analysis the valedictorian of 4chan university school of law can bring to this issue.

What differences?
Other than no protestors were killed during the other interruptions. Also, joining the resistance and rioting during the 2017 Inauguration seems like an organized, violent effort to overthrow the Gov’t. Just a little food for thought as using these Statutes sets interesting precedents.

I really do not get the play here.
Option 1: They investigate and do not bring an impeachment, Biden claims he is acquitted.
Option 2: They investigate bring an article of impeachment and it fails a house vote, Biden claims he is acquitted, and they forced members in districts Biden won to take a really hard vote.
Option 3: They investigate bring an article of impeachment and it passes, it has 0% chance in the Senate. Biden claims he is acquitted, and they forced members in districts Biden won to take a really hard vote.
Every recent impeachment has resulted in the popularity of the President actually increasing. So all this likely does is put a number of house seats in danger of being flipped and losing the house.
I guess Kevin McCarthy will do whatever is necessary in the short term to hold onto the gavel as long as possible.

Actively working to thwart the peaceful transfer of power, which we had for 250 years before 2020, is in my mind a high crime, worthy of impeachment, and disqualification from holding office.
McCarthy admitted he had no evidence last month. Today one of his own was calling for his removal:
Gaetz: Mr. Speaker, you are out of compliance with the agreement that allowed you to assume this role. The path forward for the House of Representatives is to either bring you into immediate total compliance or remove you,
At least Pelosi knew how to manage her caucus, get shit done, and keep the government running. Clowns like Gaetz, and Green, and Comer haven't a clue.

But what is the political advantage? I get that turnaround is fair play, but if there isn't a political advantage, then why cut off your nose to spite your face.
McCarthy doesn't have the votes to get this passed, and I am doubtful he is going to turnup something new that will convince the hold-outs in his own party, most of who are sitting in districts Biden won, to vote for impeach and risk their own reelection.
Further, the past impeachments have shown that there is a backlash against the party doing the impeaching. So all this seems to do is make happy a few members in safe seats at the cost of the vulnerable members of their narrow majority.

It would really be funny if a few Republicans in Democratic districts decided to vote for Hakeem Jeffries as Speaker in the interim just to give the Caucus a middle finger.
Now another question I have for both Bobbie and Strange - how safe is Ken Buck looking for reelection? He's one of the few FC people acting sane right about now (and might find himself in the same boat as MTG if he's not careful. I know Lauren Boebert is really going to have to put her nose to the grindstone if she's going to win another term. No. It doesn’t bother me one bit. “Comer’s and Jordan’s antics” are just getting started. Ol’ Joe has changed his story 3 times already about his involvement and it won’t be the last. If he truly thinks he is innocent, then why lie from the start.

Some people's representative in the Cleveland area:
“I think it’s abusing the process,” Rep. David Joyce (R-Ohio) said, lamenting how political impeachments have become. “We’ve been good about letting [the] Judiciary and Oversight [committees] run their course, and I’ve not seen a compilation of facts or evidence that had been put together that would convince me or anybody else at the moment that the next step is an impeachment inquiry.”

And yeah, sorry. I’m not buying a “Fact Check “ organization that is affiliated and funded by a public university since universities are inherently biased to the left. How convenient Paul.
An independent analysis of that site stated this:
“ An independent review by an AllSides staffer in April 2020 found that FactCheck.org seems to have a disproportionate number of fact check articles focusing on President Trump and other top Republicans, indicating what may be a slight Lean Left bias. FactCheck.org's About page states that it monitors "the factual accuracy of what is said by major U.S. political players." The focus on the Trump administration could be due to the fact that FactCheck.org editors consider them to be most major political players at the moment; or it could be an indication of a slight Left bias. The site did include some fact check content on Joe Biden and other Democrats, but fact check claims focusing on Trump seem to dominate the site during 6 months of content that was reviewed.”
That is interesting since Joe Biden has proven over his entire career to be a pathological liar. And FactCheck.org couldn’t be bothered to cover a candidate like him equal to his opponent?
Zero credit to that site.

https://www.factcheck.org/2020/10/trump-revives-false-narrative-on-biden-and-ukraine/
A refresher on the timeline of events leading up to the firing of Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin:
April 2014: Hunter Biden joined Burisma and was paid approximately $1,000,000 per year.
February 10, 2015: Viktor Shokin is elevated to lead the Office of the Prosecutor General during an ongoing, international investigation focused on corruption surrounding Burisma.
September 2015: The Interagency Policy Committee, a task force created to advise the Obama White House on whether Ukraine had cleaned up enough corruption to warrant more Western foreign aid, asserted that Prosecutor Shokin had made sufficient progress in combating corruption to warrant a third guarantee of a $1 billion loan.
November 5, 2015: Then-Vice President Biden participated in a call with then-President of Ukraine Poroshenko and provided no indication that the United States’ policy regarding Ukraine required the dismissal of Prosecutor General Shokin.
Late 2015: Vadym Pozharsky, Burisma’s corporate secretary, was increasingly pushing Hunter Biden to deliver help from the U.S. government regarding pressure Zlochevsky was facing from the Office of the Prosecutor General and abroad.
Also Late 2015: The removal of Prosecutor General Shokin suddenly becomes a condition of the $1 billion loan guarantee according to Vice President Biden.
December 4, 2015: Hunter Biden “called D.C.” in a private meeting with Zlochevsky and Pozharsky in Dubai following Pozharsky’s request.
March 2016: Shokin is dismissed from his position by the Ukrainian Rada after months of public pressure most adamantly applied by then-VP Biden.
January 2018: Former VP Joe Biden brags to Council on Foreign Relations event attendees about his role in having Shokin fired.

I can tell you didn't read the report, and you are somehow surprised that the focused on Trump during his presidency? The guy with 30,000 documented lies and counting? Really?
You're worried about the 1 billion he withheld in advancing US policy? If you had read the report you would have noticed this:
In February 2016, International Monetary Fund Managing Director Christine Lagarde threatened to withhold $40 billion unless Ukraine undertook “a substantial new effort” to fight corruption after the country’s economic minister and his team resigned to protest government corruption. That same month, a “reform-minded deputy prosecutor resigned, complaining that his efforts to address government corruption had been consistently stymied by his own prosecutor general, Viktor Shokin,” according to a Jan. 3, 2017, Congressional Research Service report.
Shokin submitted his resignation later that same month, and was gone the next month.

Paul totally ignores the 2 billion pathological lies that Joe Biden has told through his entire career, and which continues today as well as the “US policy” advanced by….Joe Biden! You obviously didn’t read the accurate timeline above where there had been deemed to be enough progress in September 2015 to even initiate the $1 billion loan. What happened in 3 months to change that? Pressure from Biden. Pretty clear.
I’m giving no credit to a report from an obviously biased “Fact Checker”. Biden is corrupt as hell and $20 million, including $$ from China, proves it.

You mean the DOJ that called Hunter’s laptop “Russian Disinformation”?
You mean the DOJ that created FISA Warrants based upon a whole cloth dossier?

Yeah, isn’t it great when elected representatives actually are willing to speak for themselves instead of following a herd mentality like the Democrats?
Thank Gawd, however, for Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema who broke with the herd and saved the country billions? Then, of course, the Dems turn around and screw Manchin out of the agreement that he thought he had.

Trump can be blamed for a lot of things, but starting today’s political discourse is not one of them. Has he added gasoline to a burning fire? Sure.
For decades, the Democrats have been accusing Republicans as racist, sexist, homophobic and xenophobic. Not to mention a basket of deplorables. Seemed to work because those terms are amplified in today’s politics.

Well of course you do, Paul. Here's a thought: The standards of discourse have been getting lower and lower for the last 50-60 years. I couldn't imagine cussing in public around adults when I was a kid. These days, kids don't give a rip. Look at how kids talk to teachers today compared to 50 years ago. Look at the deterioration of customer service, look at how consumers treat merchants. How about the way parents speak to sporting officials and youth coaches? Been in a business meeting lately? It's ALOT different than it was when I entered the workforce in the 90's. I could go on and on but I think you get the drift.
It might just be that our elected officials are mirroring the changes in the electorate over the past 50 years, but that requires some critical thinking. The other line of thinking would be to blame Donald Trump.

While there's a lot of merit in what you say(and I entered the workforce in the 60's), I'd like to think Presidents could act...well, presidential. Obama, Bush, Clinton, Biden, etc seemed to be able to do so. They didn't make fun of disabled people, verbally attack other countries and their people or religions. They act like adults.

Didn’t Clinton get impeached? I wouldn’t say his whole Monica situation was very presidential. Joe Biden doesn’t seem very presidential with his slurred press conferences and his involvement in the Hunter situation. This is not a one party issue and in my opinion is being made worst by people who only point the finger at one party. Maybe demand accountability and ethical responsibility for all politicians who seem to lie about taking their oath seriously to serve the people and this country. If I acted like some of these politicians at my job, I wouldn’t have job. These politicians do it and are amazingly praised for doing it.

Bill Clinton was impeached for getting blow jobs, while married, in the oval office by a young vulnerable intern. Then he went on TV and lied to the American people. Then he lied under oath. Joe Biden has a documented past of sniffing little girls' hair and has hurled plenty of insults as his detractors "dog-faced pony soldier" Whatever the hell that means. I didn't start sniffing cocaine because i found out that Obama and Bush did. Did you start screwing around on your wife because JFK did? Presidential??
The 'license to act poorly' is a dog that simply doesn't hunt. Why would any person or parent get their moral or behavioral compass from a politician? That type of rearing comes from home, and anyone who decides that they can act a certain way because a politician does has nobody to blame but themself. "I did it because he did it" has never held water and never will. Blaming Trump for this kind of mentality is just another example of the Trump boogeyman complex and an unwillingness to hold individuals accountable for their actions.

They were done in private and later became public.
That is a far cry from the daily barrage of nonsense from Trump, or his bullying and name calling, and other infantile behavior.
Don't know how to explain it any better. He tacitly concurs with suggestions of violence at his rallies and in fact urged his supporters on to what became the insurrection at the Capitol.
And you can't see any difference?
BTW, a lot of the people in jail for that riot said exactly what you point out: "I did it because the president told me to."
And you're right, it didn't work and they are accountable for their own actions.
None of that excuses his behavior, that continues even to this day.

I swear to god, these are the words that came out of his mouth: “The Indian looks at John Wayne and points to the Union soldier and says, ‘He’s a lying, dog-faced pony soldier!’ Well, there’s a lot of lying, dog-faced pony soldiers out there about global warming.” As the ramble continued, he said: “Remember the famous song, ‘Good Morning, Vietnam’?” Then he said he was gonna go to bed, and then went on to something about the “Third World,” then corrected himself because we don’t say Third World, it’s the Southern Hemisphere. Suddenly a voice comes on overhead: “Thank you, everyone. This ends the press conference.” Jazz immediately starts playing, loudly. Biden tries to answer another question, but they’ve cut his mic.
Upon his return to the U.S., President Biden gave a speech on the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks in which he falsely claimed that he was at the World Trade Center the day after the attacks. He said: “I join you on this solemn day to renew our sacred vow: never forget. Never forget. We never forget. Each of us—each of those precious lives stolen too soon when evil attacked. Ground Zero in New York—I remember standing there the next day, and looking at the building.” Fact checks like this, to me, aren’t a huge deal (I always remember myself as the hero of situations; if I drive past a car crash, I sort of think I probably also saved a baby from the car, and the best thanks is to LIVE, goddammit!). But technically speaking, Biden didn’t go to Ground Zero the next day. He went more than a week later. Even CNN fact-checked that one. ”

Yeah, I think the Michelle Obama chatter is a ridiculous stretch, but there are a lot of signs starting to point that he might be deemed unfit to run by the DNC. CNN of all stations just ran a piece on all of the lies and complete nonsense that he's been spewing. When CNN goes after a sitting Democratic President while Donald Trump is still in the conversation...something might be off.

He keeps pushing some weird conspiracy theory that Michelle Obama is going to run as the nominee.
Why do you keep saying that? Only way he will drop is if trump doesn’t get the Republican nom. Then, the dnc will have to come up with someone other than a corpse.
Because that's my prediction. Once you have a DEM propaganda agent like David Ignatius calling for "Pops" to step aside, it becomes very likely that prediction becomes reality.
Biden is mentally ill. He will continue prove that anytime his "handlers" allow him to speak in public. He constantly views himself in some kind of alternate reality and you can't hide dementia. 14 more months of exposure/deterioration will render him UNELECTABLE. Just look at the southern direction of any poll.
IF the powers that be in the DNC allow him to complete the Primary process (without debates), I strongly predict a Brokered Convention. Obviously, it's extremely rare, but Trump has made anything possible. In a properly coordinated Brokered Convention, the "powers that be" can hand pick a nominee regardless of the Primary outcome.
Call it a conspiracy theory if you want, but Barack Obama is the only President in over a Century to CONTINUE to reside in DC after leaving the White House. Is there any doubt he is deeply involved in the "Fundamentally Transform America" policies of the Biden Administration? Is there ANYONE in the Democrat Party that would not give a big "Hell Yeah" to an Obama 3rd term? Manipulate the system to install Michelle Obama as the nominee, and there is not a person on the planet that could beat her.
Hello 3rd term.

What? Wrong post.
I asked you a simple either/or question with no article near it and you exposed your unbelievable bias toward a borderline mental patient who gets lost on a podium. Tax cuts fueled an economic recovery that Obama couldn’t pull off and there were no wars at all under the previous president. The “Threat to Democracy” has been well documented to be weaponized Justice Departments FBI and CIA under Democrats as documented by whistleblowers.
Biden’s Administration is an abject Disaster as proven by the Afghanistan debacle, Et Al.
