May employment report :559,000 jobs added
Anticipated and predicted added jobs: 671,000
Deficit 112,000.
President Applesauce Brains keeps missing the benchmarks at every turn. When are the resident Critics of the last administration, those critics who can’t see things past January 20, going to give us their inciscive critiques???
I’m still waiting......
Your stich is old and boring. Does anyone honestly believe one can debate with someone who calls the president childish names? I always called Trump by his name. I could have called him President Rapist or President Tax Evader or President Racist. I never did, it's boring, stupid and beneath me.

You could have called Trump all those things and been arrogantly ignorant. However, it’s clear Biden is missing employment benchmarks and plenty of cognitive function.

Go back to your bamboo ballots and watermarks, see how this works. It might sound bad but your posts in the past show you are all behind these conspiracy theories which have as much basis in reality as MOR's name calling.
Key word in your post was "could" because I didn't. MOR does, I can quote several posts with the childish label. Missing job numbers is one thing, how about the fact that he is trending up and total numbers by month are largely not worth much regardless.

And once again, deflection to something else irrelevant to avoid talking about President Biden’s terrible record. He and his minions have been wrong about every single thing so far and is only saved by Trump handing him a ready made vaccine.
Yes. Someone can debate someone else on the actions and merits/demerits of a President’s policies no matter what satirical verbiage was used previously. You could point by trying to defend the guy who is the subject of the sarcastic terms by refuting them with factual examples. So far no one has. I’ve pointed out numerous terrible decisions and moves that are hurtful to the country that no one has jumped to the defense of with factual data to refute the criticism.
As I’ve asked before. When are you illliberals going to discuss or offer up a defense for them rather that diverting to red herrings?

No, you missed the point entirely! Congrats on being so far from correct!
I have little to no opinion on most political fronts. I don’t enjoy this type of blind “I’m right, and you’re wrong” discussion. I don’t watch one channel, or the other. But I AM curious. I’d like to learn something in a mature fashion.
Many of the people here are so set in their beliefs that they seem incapable of learning or even hearing anything beside their set opinions. They already “know” everything. I’m the exact opposite. I’d like to gain some insight, but I can’t take seriously anyone who has consistently extreme views.
I prefer open minded people. I see little of that from the people actively posting in this thread, and I find that sad.

This study by scientists at Ohio State University may explain a lot of what we run into here in our discussions:
Results confirm that conservatives have lower sensitivity than liberals, performing worse at distinguishing truths and falsehoods. This is partially explained by the fact that the most widely shared falsehoods tend to promote conservative positions, while corresponding truths typically favor liberals.
Interestingly, it was done before the nonsense of January 6th, and the resulting drumbeat of the stolen election lie, and its consequences;

Hmmmm. No “Liberals” wanted to give the Wuhan Lab Leak theory any credit last year. It was claimed to be “debunked”. It wasn’t. The same evidence was out there a year ago as is out now. Only one thing changed. Wonder what that was?
Liberals keep spreading the falsehood that a Capitol Police Officer was murdered on January 6. He was not. He unfortunately died of a stroke the next day that had zero to do with what happened the day before. He even called his brother on 1/6 to tell him he was fine.
Also All Liberals were claiming that the Hunter “n-word” Biden laptop story was “Russian Disinformation”. It wasn’t. Every bit of it was true.
Yes. Check your premise. Based upon TDS.
BTW. I’m still waiting for Liberals to offer some, if any defense of this awful President Biden administration. And Kamala Harris is an absolute joke as a VP. Goes to Guatamala and gets embarrassed. Refuses to go to the border but has to restart Wall construction. Yeesh!

Just out of curiosity, if 1 or 2 states are proven to have been stolen (widespread cheating proven), were the events of 1/6 justified (no matter how overblown they are in the grand scheme of things relative to 12 months of rioting, burning, looting, murder and mayhem by Anitfa, BLM and other Democrat entities)?

He's not wrong. College is a complete racket. I'm obviously a fan of Xavier, but there's a less than 0.0% chance I'd ever pay full freight to send one of my kids there. Maybe 25% of sticker. Maybe. For most private colleges it would be more like 10%.
Yeah, just looked it up. $56k/year. LOL, no.
Xville

He's pretty spot on. "higher" education is an industry begging to be disrupted, and whoever can do it correctly is going to insanely rich.
My kids are young, so this isn't something I necessarily have to worry about yet, but I can imagine there is going to be some real discussion when it comes time to decide if college is worth it for either of my kids. If nothing changes in 13 years, college will probably be in the neighborhood of 100k a year.
I do think living on your own, out of mom and dad's reach is important and probably the most valuable life lesson that college can give, thats not worth the price of admission.
Another rambling thought...you can make damn good money learning a trade, taking an apprenticeship right out of high school, and either working your way up in a speciality trade company, or going out on your own. Don't need college for that either, maybe just some classes here and there on how to run a business.

Yep. You still need the degree to get most good jobs though, so you are kind of screwed. It's the definition of a racket.
There are cost effective ways of doing it, but it requires some effort. I have a buddy who is now a Director at a big local company in his early 40's, so fairly successful. He want to community college for 2 years and then got in the door as a Coop. They then paid for his undergrad degree, and his MBA. He obviously worked very hard and had to go to school nights and weekends while working full time and starting a family, but now he has a great job and no student loan debt.
His story is very practical, and kind of the opposite of paying $50K per year to go to a Private School to pursue a degree in English Literature or Marketing or something.

If you limit one's choices to just white collar jobs, then you are correct. However, what is sorely misunderstood is that there are millions upon millions of jobs available that don't require a degree and pay well. Specialty Trade etc I think are only going to become more and more important and higher paying jobs because quite frankly, a lot of people either don't know how to do things, or just simply don't have the time.
Hell, there is a handyman that me and my neighbors use quite frequently and it is simply because we don't have the time and in some cases the knowledge to do certain things, and the guy is booked up for two months currently.
If you have some common sense, take a few business courses and work hard, you don't need a degree to succeed....now of course if you want to do the desk job or doctor, lawyer or whatever white collar job, yeah you're screwed.

This. One of my best friends is a cabinet maker/finish carpenter. He started framing houses out of high school and then became a carpenter. He works from 7:00AM-2:30PM 5 days a week and has cleared 130+ for the last 5 years and he's on track to make much more than that this year. He's booked out through January of 22'.
There has never been a better time for parents to take a good hard look at whether their kid really needs college to carve out a very nice living. Unfortunately, so many parents would rather tell their friends that Johnny is studying sociology at Wittneberg versus letting them know he's in a welding program.

Be cautious when extolling the positives of a "blue collar" job. Those same jobs are notoriously dangerous, with disabilities suffered by many. Secondly, some of those same jobs will likely be replaced by robots in the v. near future (autoworkers, delivery drivers, truckers as examples). OTOH, the community college experience as described above should be promoted for more HS students. "Work experience" programs benefit both the student and employer. Finally, colleges are going to be reduced in number: those without a strong mission, significant endowment, and a series of "niche" academic programs will be shuttered or forced to "merge."

I totally agree. I was thinking more white collar jobs. Trades can provide a great middle class living for many people.
We also need to do a better job as a country of incentivizing kids to go into something that they have an aptitude for that will also allow them to earn the kind of living they want to earn, while also matching skills to the future needs of the economy. For example we keep having to import computer programmers from India and Asia because there aren't enough Americans who want to study it.
The absolute worst thing a kid can do, IMHO, is pursue a degree in Sociology or some other field with a low placement rate. Unless their parents are rich, then I guess they can do whatever the hell they want with their money.
Any 'free college' type of programs should be grants / rebates matched to America's economic needs. Not free college to pursue a History degree while smoking tons of weed. I literally know a guy who did just that, and now works landscaping with a 4 year degree.

Check your premise.
Shockingly (not really) they didn’t ask about the riots, sorry peaceful protests. However, a lot of negative Trump stuff. Yeah love the premise they went off, “are conservatives more prone to political misperceptions?” Then used the following methodology:
True statements were/had:
78 Democrat slant/benefit
11 Republican slant/benefit
False statements were/had:
28 Democrat slant
55 Republican slant
Not real hard to predict the results. Actually, I would have been stunned if they came up with a different outcome based off their methodology. I am sure if you flipped flopped the true statements slants, good chance results would as well. Nothing like making sure you find answers to something you already think, while trying to establish it as fact!
Well, guess I’m not completely surprised because study was funded by Facebook and used a social media monitoring system to pick their stories. We know all too well how reliable that system has become. Maybe next time they could do a study on social media suppressing and censuring conservative views that happen to be true. One big problem, they would lose their financial sponsors.
Edit: It is been reported their next study is going to be about misperceptions about covid. Can’t make this stuff up. Now that will be a must read!

We knew a very wealthy family whose son was accepted into Duke. Money was no object (the dad had sold a huge business and retired to start a foundation giving his money away to good causes), but the kid elected to spend the first couple years at community college rather than pay Duke for all 4 years. His rationale was he could still transfer in and have enough money left over to buy a house! Rich and smart!
A family friend was the dean of the business school for a major university after retiring as head of Ford Europe. Over dinner one night he talked about how broken college is. He compared it to an auto plant. Ford didn’t shut the plants down all summer and for weeks at a time over the rest of the year. It wouldn’t cost so much if you could finish in 2-3 years instead of letting that investment in infrastructure sit there empty so much. That’s not even considering virtual options. He hated how wasteful it was and wanted to get kids ready for the real world by making school more like a real job. That would have made the experience a LOT less enjoyable for me! LOL

That's a great plan for a responsible kid. I'd be a little concerned about giving a less responsible young adult the option of taking cash instead of tuition, but it sounds like it worked in this case. You could always offer a deal along the lines of "If you graduate from X University (in this case, Duke), you can take the rest of your college fund in the form of a down payment on a house".
I'm planning to give each of my kids a set amount for college: somewhere between $100K and $200K, but probably closer to $100K. It's not going to cover 4 years tuition + Room and Board at an expensive school, but that's kind of the point. I'd like for them to have some 'skin in the game' so that they aren't just screwing around. That $100K is also subject to my approval of their course of study - I'm not paying for bullshit majors or bad grades.

That's grotesque..
There's no way these costs can continue to go up at the same rate they have over the last 10 years...right?
I have a set limit for each of my 3 kids and the rest will be on them. The concept of fully paying for college is just not something my family has ever embraced. It started with my grandpa and went to my parents. They helped us (2 sibs), but ended up paying less than half when it was all said and done. We got jobs while in school, got some athletic money and took out loans for the rest. My sibs and I had student loans until we were 30, paid them off and moved on.
Because of that model, my parents were able to retire at a reasonable age and are really enjoying their back 9. I'm going to help my kids, but I'll be damned if I'm going to go into dire straits and not be able to enjoy a retirement that I've worked my ass off for. Kids need to have some skin in the game IMO.

It’ll be interesting to see how the market reacts to the ridiculous cost. Could see young adults doing two years online at a JUCO while working a paid apprenticeship. Then deciding to finish out the last two years at a standard University or continuing their trade. This could be a great opportunity for schools to setup a trade/core course program for two years as a type of work/study on the cheap and then the students decide which path is best. Crazy idea now but then again so is $200k per kid.

The bold part is critical! We were very fortunate to have purchased Florida pre-paid college plans when the kids were both in diapers. It was peanuts, like $2-4k and got them 4 years of tuition. Good grades helped some with the rest of the costs. Our son didn’t know what he wanted to major in (what 17-18 year old kid really does?), so almost by default he decided on “business”. My banker wife put her foot down and said “you will NOT just be another finance major, I don’t even LOOK at those job applications!” She shamed into a dual major of finance/accounting.
That was not enough to satisfy her or him, so he stayed another year for a Masters in accounting. Since the first 4 years were almost free, we footed the bill for that and he got his CPA designation.
He quickly learned he wanted out of accounting! Doing financial due diligence on acquisitions pays a fraction of what the guys earn who MAKE the deals. Time to go back to school (nights and weekends) to get his $80k+ MBA. THIS is where he finally got some skin in the game by getting student loans. We know he’s serious about it, and we have helped some, but I’m sure that he will appreciate it far more having been personally committed to it financially (even if we bail him out a bit later if/when kids start coming).
NOW, if he was trying to pursue a PhD in 16th Century Italian Art, have at it, but you’re on your own!

A Washington Post timeline on June 8,2020, (that's a year ago)reviewing the trouble on Lafayette Square, points out that the police were clearing the protestors so contractors could erect new barriers.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/investigations/2020/06/08/timeline-trump-church-photo-op/
Uh, the Washington Post, which is now routinely going back and editing published stories from the last 4 years to make them appear different, ran 2 stories on 6/4/20 and 6/11/20 comparing Lafayette Square and Trump to the Kremlin and Tienimen Square in China. They are the lowest of the lows in credibility now.
And the IG who cleared this up has an impeccable reputation under 4 different Presidents.
The Washington Post and NY Times on this story are full of it. And, of course, Paul still trusts them.

I think that costs have to stop rising, if not reverse, for higher education. I don't see how this is sustainable. I graduated from Xavier in 2004, and full boat tuition + Room and board was around $25K and just tuition was about $15K if I remember correctly. Now it's $56K? Meanwhile starting salaries for graduates haven't even come close to keeping pace with that type of inflation.
The whole thing is crazy for so many reasons, but here are a few of my top ones
1. The whole country is convinced that the sole road to prosperity is though a college education. This isn't entirely incorrect - college graduates have fared MUCH better over the last 20 years than people without a degree, but not everybody is cut out for college.
2. Literally anybody can get in to a college (there are a million of them), and literally anybody can borrow large amounts of money to pay for it. The lenders have kind of a sweetheart deal in that student loan debt is basically the only thing you can't file bankruptcy on, so they lend indiscriminately to 18-20 year old kids without fear of having the debt erased via bankruptcy filing. As a lending entity there aren't a lot of places where you can get that type of deal.
3. Most kids entering college have wildly unrealistic expectations about their job prospects upon graduation. Everyone I knew in college thought that they were going to get a much better job than they did upon graduation, myself included. If you think you are going to walk into a job paying $80K right out of college, why not borrow $100K+ for your degree?
If more people (mostly parents) start really challenging the value equation college provides, I think that will have an impact on costs. I know when it comes time for my kids to attend college we are going to have some real discussions about cost-benefit. My siblings and I were fortunate in that my parents paid for college. However, part of the deal was that we (1) got good grades and that (2) they had veto power over majors and school choice. I double majored in Finance and IT because they were the two courses of study (within the business school) that had the highest placement rates at the time. Still - I won't do the same for my kids because I don't think that any of us took it seriously enough. I'd be more likely to pay my kids student loans in full upon graduation as a 'surprise' graduation gift than to let them know up front that I'm paying for school completely.

So you believe the Big Lie, do ya. Think 1/6 were just innocent tourists? Covid was a hoax? I think everyone is glad to be rid of the scumbag.
I had to look up "the Big Lie". I don't know about all that, but what I do know is the media has outright lied to us to promote a narrative, as evidenced by my examples above. That is a fact.
1/6 innocent tourists? No. But there are videos showing cops letting them through the fencing around the Capital, and videos of cops allowing to move freely about the Capital, with only the advise of "remain peaceful". There is also evidence of leftist agitation. Most importantly, the media - again - has grossly exaggerated the events that day.
Covid a hoax? That's ridiculous. Covid is a bad virus that has resulted in significant sickness and death. But - yet again - it has been grossly exaggerated by the media, in combination with false information being presented by governmental agencies.
If you'd like me to explain any of these, I'd be happy to. But the facts have been presented ad nauseum here and on the Covid thread. If I need to explain, you either aren't paying attention or refuse to recognize reality.
I answered your questions, but you still refuse to answer me. Bobbie - do you still believe what you hear from the media and from our government without question?

Off to Aspen for the weekend. I'm an old fart on kidney dialysis, so I have to arrange for that along the way.
I'm sure you're right about the MSM, although I'm not even sure who they are anymore as everybody points fingers at the other. However, if you were sitting on your couch on 1/6 and watching TV, you could have turned off the sound on any station and quickly figured out what was going on. Frankly at my age, I wouldn't give a poop anymore except for the kids. As far as believing what I hear from the gov't, I am a Vietnam ERA Veteran, which is all you need to know about that fiasco and gov't lying. I am a proud X grad like you and promote the X brand everywhere I go. As we say back in the 60's, PEACE OUT! Life ain't so bad.

Sorry, that is not the Proud Boys entering the U.S. Capitol - that is Antifa. John Sullivan - an Antifa leader - was filmed in the building! This is from wikipedia (see page for facts and citations of quotes):
"By May 2021, Sullivan faced eight charges for his involvement in the siege, including an allegation he incited rioters so he could video the violence, later selling the video to news outlets for $90,000, which prosecutors confiscated. Prosecutors alleged Sullivan told another individual, "I brought my megaphone to instigate shit. I was like, guys we're going inside, we're fucking shit up... Some notable sources used are Breitbart (Questionable), DcDirtyLaundry (Questionable), Neon Nettle (Conspiracy), Big League Politics (Questionable) and Red State (Questionable). Further, 100% of the sources had a factual rating of Mixed or less. In general, The Liberty Daily curates strongly right leaning news from sources that are not always factual.

According to FBI Director Wray’s testimony recently “there are hundreds and hundreds and hundreds investigations into the events of January 6.” Honestly, what would we get from a Congressional commission, but a theater shit show from both sides after it is presented.
I guess politicians can do their usual grandstanding and create public opinions by cherry picking while dividing us further. Not to mention the BS leaks before that will already form those opinions.
Hopefully we can take vast information from several of Wray’s hundreds of investigation and make some meaningful changes without the political crap. Not good for ratings, but problem solved.

A letter from inside Joe Biden's gulag by Jonathan Mellis who has been in solitary confinement since February awaiting trial:
"We are charged with every possible offense and held in the DC jail on solitary [sic] confinement and treated inhumanely. For example, a correctional officer from a different pod came to C2B screaming at us late at night on 6/1/21 because we had just sang ‘God Bless America’ [sic] from behind our locked doors like we do every night. Being as we are on lockdown 22 hours a day it’s nice to keep morale up through patriotism. When [name omitted by American Greatness], my next door neighbor, informed the officer that we were just singing ‘God Bless America’ the officer responded by yelling, ‘Fuck America!’
After the officer left the pod for several minutes he came back in through the back door with another guard, walked upstairs, and opened [name omitted]’s door to go inside with him. I believe 2 other guards came up the other stairs to stand near [his] door as well, although I could not see them. I live right next door so I listened through the vent to the officer threaten [him], ‘Shut the fuck up or I will beat your ass!’ and, ‘Fuck you!’
[He] sounded like he was explaining himself and pointing out how obviously inappropriate the officer’s behavior was. And acknowledging that the officer’s camera was clearly turned off.
I am concerned for the safety of myself and my fellow Capitol rioters here in the DC jail. We are locked down all day and threatened with violence regularly. We all know that getting our hands tied together and being beaten is something the DC jail officers have already done to Capitol rioters in this pod.
Solitary Confinement and beatings. That is our reality. When will the inhumane treatment end? I just want to let everyone know the reality of how we are treated in this place. Left wing rioters are not even held in jail. Much less subjected to the harsh and inhumane treatment my fellow Capitol rioters and I have survived under so far this year."

Ironic, yes, but is it now alright to beat prisoners?? Is that now acceptable? Is it also alright to keep prisoners in solitary confinement? Is that the new America standard now set out Democrats? ESPECIALLY when you contrast that with how Anitfa and BLM thugs were treated, ie., mostly free to walk away.

I realize there are a multitude of investigations going on in New York, dealing with Trump's tax issues. Realize that there are new calls for Bill Barr to testify in congress, about an "enemy's list" that took things much further than the Nixon debacle (through gag orders, and unprecedented violations of privacy rights... Apple subpoenas and claims of a "witch hunt" within it's own "witch hunt").
Blame the enemy for your own sins/contradictions, seems to be a very strong indicator of a behavioral disorder. (Among educated, certified psychological profilers, that is). Sick. Yes, those who stormed the beaches under the flag are the same as those who burn it.
To say the terrorists in this country share any of the values of the WWII generation/veterans is a gross, propagandist perversion of history. For example, the WWII generation fought the spread of Socialism/Communism (Nazis were Socialist) after the war. Is regulating speech and vandalizing the past a sign of liberal tolerance or authoritarianism?
Also, can someone here provide their definition of Fascism? I don’t think anyone who uses it (especially Antifa) really knows what it is. I see plenty of references to the National Socialist German Workers Party but they weren’t Fascists. Authoritarian Socialist with a sociopathic occult fetish sure. However, not actual Fascists. The Italians were fascists at the time. One thing the Nazis, Communists and Fascists hated was Capitalism and the idea of limitations on central authority.

The owner of the Muckraking Yellow Journalistic Outrage Infested Washington Post everyone- Jeff Beelzebub Bezos.
Do as I say and make me rich while I publish unbalanced garbage, but don’t look into what I do with my company.
Stop shopping at Amazon people and support local stores.
From the New York Times, in a rare piece of journalism:
“ In his drive to create the world’s most efficient company, Jeff Bezos discovered what he thought was another inefficiency worth eliminating: hourly employees who spent years working for the same company.
Longtime employees expected to receive raises. They also became less enthusiastic about the work, Amazon’s data suggested. And they were a potential source of internal discontent.
Bezos came to believe that an entrenched blue-collar work force represented “a march to mediocrity,” as David Niekerk, a former Amazon executive who built the company’s warehouse human resources operations, told The Times, as part of an investigative project being published this morning. “What he would say is that our nature as humans is to expend as little energy as possible to get what we want or need.”
In response, Amazon encouraged employee turnover. After three years on the job, hourly workers no longer received automatic raises, and the company offered bonuses to people who quit. It also offered limited upward mobility for hourly workers, preferring to hire managers from the outside.
As is often the case with one of Amazon’s business strategies, it worked.
Turnover at Amazon is much higher than at many other companies — with an annual rate of roughly 150 percent for warehouse workers, The Times’s story discloses, which means that the number who leave the company over a full year is larger than the level of total warehouse employment. The churn is so high that it’s visible in the government’s statistics on turnover in the entire warehouse industry: When Amazon opens a new fulfillment center, local turnover often surges. ” The new Times story — by Jodi Kantor, Karen Weise and Grace Ashford — is full of fresh details, including internal company statistics, posts from internal message boards and interviews with Amazon workers and executives, both current and former. The story focuses on JFK8, a sprawling Staten Island warehouse, as it coped with the coronavirus pandemic and the surge in demand for online shopping.
If nothing else, I recommend you read the article to hear the story of the Castillo family. While Alberto Castillo, a 42-year-old husband, father and Amazon worker, was in the hospital suffering from Covid-related brain damage, the company sent him an email ordering him back to work. “Haven’t they kept track of what happened to him?” his wife, Ann, wondered.
At Amazon, workers sometimes find out about a new shift only the day before, scrambling their family routine. When workers want to get in touch with human resources by phone, they must navigate an automated process that can resemble an airline customer-service department during a storm. Employees are constantly tracked and evaluated based on their amount of T.O.T., or time off task. One employee who had earned consistent praise was fired for a single bad shift.
What a great guy!! :-(

“ On the data front, the final demand index for producer prices advanced 6.6% for the 12 months ended in May, the largest increase since 12-month data were first calculated in November 2010.
On a monthly basis, the producer price index for final demand rose 0.8%, ahead of the Dow Jones estimate of 0.6%. Producer prices measure the prices paid to producers as opposed to prices on the consumer level.
Meanwhile, May's retail sales data fell 1.3%, compared to an expectation of a 0.7% decline per economists polled by Dow Jones.”

Yes and this why. Biden went back to Holder’s 2010 sentencing and charging memo after inauguration. Seems like capital and Portland rights will need to be treated similarly, which means dropping charges to some who attacked police. Bad practice regardless because should not be given a pass on attacking police with either riot.

1. I don't believe criminals should be locked up for 23 hrs. a day except for the covid reason instituted June 1, 2020 and expired 6/5/2021, at least in the DC jail. Yeah, it was harsh but probably saved lives. They get 5.5 hrs. outside now as well as indoors activities. I don't believe they are being tortured just cause some attempt murderer sez so.
2. I don't like any of the fringe actors, AOC, OMAR, MTG (just discovered the Holocaust existed), Gaetz, Boebert, etc.
3. Think the BLM bs has gone way too far to the enrichment of their leaders and the black commercial actors union. What happens in 2045? Are we going to have WLM and affirmative action for whites?
4. CRT is bullshit. Makes me sick. Same with that 1619 project baloney.
5. Don't believe in "systematic racism". People have busted their butts all their lives to eek out a good living. I came up the ladder with equally talented black achievers who are now sunning themselves in Mexico or somewhere. They didn't sit around and bitch about their circumstances, just worked hard. Honestly, any black kid can go get a job at Amazon (yeah, I know), work there for 15-17 hr and take a better job in 2-3 yrs. further up the ladder.
6. Yeah, maybe I overreacted to the 1/6 riot. Honestly, my jaw dropped when I realized what was happening and I didn't want those bastards in the Capitol. Congress voted 406-21 to give all the cops metals lol
7. I've been a registered independent for 53 yrs. Or as they say in CO., no party. I can vote in either primary, but, of course, just one. I've voted for a bunch of Republicans over the years. I love the CO voting system...results @ 7:30 pm, drop off my ballot in the neighborhood.
8. Most of my problem with this board is people who just can't admit that trump lost the election. People here say they never heard of the "Big Lie". Are you kidding me? 47% of Republicans say trump won? What planet are they on.
9. So, yeah, I' m right of center on stuff, but the main problem here seems to be that I don't like trump and the do nothing McConnell, McCarthy clan. Sue me.
Oh, I love it pissed off MOR we got the All-Star game but that should have never happened. The game should be played in the ATL. However, I don't think we should change the voting laws in every red state bcuz trump lost. I hope ATL gets the next one.

I watch cnbc when I want some news. Nowadays, cnn, msnbc and Fox just show clips of each others broadcast and bring on some morons with agendas to "discuss". Garbage in garbage out.
Are you delusional? I could care less if “you” got the All Star Game. What I am pissed about are that many Businessses owned by People of Color will miss out on big dollars because a “Woke” Commissioner decided to move the game to a state with basically the same voter ID requirements and almost the same restrictions. The “outrage” over the Georgia Law is performative. Period.
Meanwhile, when will you and Paul address the clusterf%#k that is the Joe Biden Administration? When?
I keep asking with no answer. You could not stop screaming during the last Administration!

It's called being the loyal opposition.
When Biden has his campaign manager and various hangers-on indicted, you can bring it up.
When he has his DOJ try to overturn an election, you can bring it up.
When he encourages insurrectionists to storm the Capitol and they go in looking to hang the VP, you can bring it up.
So far, he's going about the business of being our president without blasting out 30,000 lies on twitter.
He's got a hard job with McConnell trying again, as he did with Obama, to block meaningful governing.

- An embarrassing VP who is in over her head, Check.

- A lack of holding Iran and China accountable for terrorism and foisting a global pandemic on the world, check.
Yup. No lies detected there.
That list has zero to do with McConnell. That list is a direct result of Biden’s own Executive Orders, the Democrats ramming a overbloated “recovery” bill through that is giving people money to sit on their asses, and Biden’s own warped view that the world hasn’t changed for the better after Obama did his best to screw it up. How are those Children in Cages going Paul?

The Juneteenth holiday will now live forever in infamy as a day of violence. This situation of wanton violence was created by Democrats by allowing a year of riots to go unpunished - on top of numerous Democrat politicians advocating for "defund the police" movements. This must be heating up at WaPo because one of the sites I read posted about it. Basically the paper used sources known for story fabrication in an effort to delegitimize the former Prez and anyone calling for audits. Like I said, counter Intel to discredit a potentially legitimate question/concern/process. Pretty standard work for the media to push an agenda and serve up red meat to readers and sell ads.
The media has been struggling to control the message/language since the Information Age. However currently tactics seem to be moving towards speech codes and consensus (obedience) rather than debate.

But that theory relies on a false assumption: that anyone identified as an "unindicted co-conspirator" in charging documents is a government agent.
In fact, legal experts say that term cannot be used to describe FBI agents or undercover government operatives.

I did. Externalities are temporary blips outside of the “graph” in S/D so thank you for making my point. That is Summer is behaving like two Sumner’s ago. Return to normal post pandemic so thanks goes to Trump for the roaring economy of the past few years. Biden’s ridiculous spending hasn’t hit however the COVID spending has artificially slightly raised demand in some sectors which has led to supply chain and labor issues and rising prices in others (see lumber and other manufactured goods).
Colonial pipeline? Cyber attack, National Security fiasco on Biden and where were you paying $3 for gas two years ago? Wasn’t that expensive here on the south side of town.
You conveniently left out the banning of new pipeline development and fracking in some cases. All of which reduce global supply and raise prices (oil/gas is relatively inelastic). Not to mention to return of Government Climate “science”.

Should have said “I wonder how the minority businesses in Atlanta are doing this week”.
Paul would have been tongue tied.

I assumed he’d be aware of the issue and the ironic hypocrisy. Guess that’s on me for assuming…

Maybe Hershall Walker should run for Governor instead of the Senate.

Probably happy to have 27,800 fans every night of the season vs. 11,800 in Cleveland.

But don't come here Cubans! The Biden administration will NOT let you in. They want to be VERY clear about that.

That's what they get for flying the American flag and chanting inflammatory things like "freedom"!

Doubt if the 'pubs would be happy with another Mariel Boatlift with 150,000 cubans showing up in Miami. Oh, but they could blame it on Biden!!

I guess we’ll find out if it happens. But we know from statements the Left doesn’t want them. Why? Because the Cuban peaple are anti-Communists.
Maybe the Cubans should sail to Mexico and walk right in. No one will stop them…

That's funny. They've been a Commie Country since the overthrow in '59. They loved Fidel and his Commie gov't. Nowadays, not so much.

Do you want them here? I'm sure Rubio will be down there welcoming Scarface as he gets off the boat, but no mexicans please.

Wow, Bobbie what a racist stereotype. Yes, I’d welcome Cubans who are actually seeking asylum. I welcome anyone who follows the laws for citizenship. Not so much for those who enter illegally.

It's actually easier to cross the Mexican/US boarder than it is to cross the Ohio/Kentucky(either direction) boarder as of late. Just sayin.

Why not? They're illegal aliens. Double standard?
They are given a different status fleeing legitimate political (Leftist/Communist) persecution.
Should Biden:
1. Actually say they are protesting Communism?
2. Offer refuge status?
The answer is no from Biden. Why? Double standard?

So if 11 million cuban former communists who suddenly love freedom want to come to the US you're ok with it. They were ecstatic when the ruskies came in and pointed missiles at the US but now they love us.

11 million Communist? Are you being serious or just deflecting from your silly posts?
Thoughts on Biden’s reaction or do you agree they’re not defendable?

"We stand with the Cuban people and their clarion call for freedom and relief from the tragic grip of the pandemic and from the decades of repression and economic suffering to which they have been subjected by Cuba’s authoritarian regime. The Cuban people are bravely asserting fundamental and universal rights. Those rights, including the right of peaceful protest and the right to freely determine their own future, must be respected. The United States calls on the Cuban regime to hear their people and serve their needs at this vital moment rather than enriching themselves."

The leaders are Communist. Don’t think I said all the people are Communist. I said the people are anti Communist.
Thoughts on Biden’s reaction or are you a simple reactionary who opposes things because Trump, Pubs or whatever?
