I'm not sure that makes a lot of sense. Many of the mailed ballots (especially with the shenanigans of the new postal head) may not be received and counted by election day. So you go to the polls, don't see it recorded yet...and commit a felony?

The voting system does identify if someone requested an absentee ballot, and if that person's absentee ballot has been received. If a completed ballot was received, they cannot vote in person. If someone casts an absentee ballot not yet received, they can request a provisional ballot.

The judge does not have any discretion when the case involves anal or oral sex.

SB 145 would eliminate automatic sex offender registration for young adults who have anal or oral sex with a minor. Instead, a judge would make the decision, just as they do now in cases involving vaginal intercourse.

OK, I had perceived you as “very blue”. I ask because I really liked McCain in ‘00 in the primaries, and was ticked the Republicans screwed him over. He then “fell in line” in ‘08 which made me lose respect for him. He was the only R I supported (in ‘00) until Romney.

Serious question...

Why doesn't Trump sue them?

My only frame of reference is sports media, which I know isn't at all the same, but just talking to the people that work in that industry will make you realize that you better be right. You need multiple sources. Unnamed sources are okay, but they better be real because if there is any real pushback then you better be able to legally stand your ground. Retractions for getting a story wrong will oftentimes cost a reporter their job and sometimes their career, and if something goes to air or print that isn't true, the target of that story will almost always take legal action to get the story retracted or removed.

So, why doesn't Trump go after them? He's obviously being damaged by this, and he's obviously no stranger to litigation, and he obviously has the resources to go after them and make them take it down. So, why doesn't he?? Calling something Fake News is one thing. Actually going after them over fake stories and making them retract them while implementing stiff penalties is another. If he really feels the media is out of control, then why doesn't he take them on in a way that would actually make them stop being fake?

Another question....if the media is correct, then why aren't they calling him out more brazenly?? When ESPN reported on some of the college basketball stuff and the coaches denied it, their response was "No, it's true. We are leaving the stories up. Not only that, we dare you to sue us because if you do we can prove in court that it's true!"

I honestly don't know who to believe or what to think. Sports, in the grand scheme of things, are really just a diversion and nothing more. I don't want to say they aren't important, but they're not important on the same level that political leaders are. If the media really is making things like this up about him, then in my opinion Trump has a duty not just to himself, but to EVERYONE, to take real action against it beyond just denying it and tweeting about how it's 'fake news.' On the other hand, if Trump really is lying about it and the media knows they can prove it in court, then they kind of have a duty to pointedly say that.

Watching the today show, they talked about it, but then at the end just had to.mention the few things that weren't in the deal such as the west bank etc, which yes that's accurate but they couldnt even being themselves to admit this was still an accomplishment.

It's a HUGE accomplishment, which does deserve a lot of recognition.

Now if he could only channel that into making some peace here domestically, that'd be even better! Nominate him for a second Nobel Prize! As it is I'm getting a little tired of how he and a lot of others on the right do things to seemingly intentionally fan the flames, and then gives themselves high-fives for doing it. And it should go without saying, but since I know it doesn't, the left needs to cut that shit out too. Here's the thing...Whoever loses this election ain't leaving. Their supporters aren't leaving. Who would never agree to doing an unscripted Town Hall with undecided voters or anywhere considering doing a 4 hour debate moderated by Joe Rogan- which Trump immediately agreed to.

2. Continues the process for pulling troops home (Dumb people thought he was going to be a war monger).

3. Powers back up the economy (DOW over 28,000; trade deals, sound tax policy that benefits all brackets, etc.).

4. Enterprise Zones, permanent funding for black colleges (Al Sharpton is UPSET!).

5. Immigration strategy payoff (boarders not being overrun; Major drug busts).

Overall, someone who doesn’t take a salary and cares about the United States, versus someone who used $1 billion in US funds to pay and pressure Ukraine to fire one of its prosecutors, because wittle Hunter’s ridiculous “arrangement” got put under the heat lamp.
