Foxsports Bracketology: X is final Four Good

I’m going to go a bit off-script here and pick Chris Mack’s club to take home the Big East Conference title over Villanova. The Musketeers return plenty of talent (including potential All-Americans Edmond Sumner and Trevon Bluiett) and proved they can hang with Jay Wright’s club, handing the defending champs one of their five losses last season. This team is “Final Four good” and will prove it by taking home the Big East crown.

I believe that X will make it to the Final 4 this year.

Why? Because of all years for it happen, this would be the worst possible year for ME.

I have told my wife for decades that if X ever made it to a Final 4 that even if I had to walk, I would be there. NOTHI!G would stop me. So what happens? This year, of all years, my older sister will turn 65 and a huge family reunion is already being planned.....cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, grandkids, friends, in-laws, etc. the whole nine yards. When? Saturday the 1st of April, 2017. Where? Exactly 1/2 mile from my house in NKY. Of all the rotten luck! Why does that have to be a Final 4 weekend!? People will be flying in from all over the country and virtually none of them give a damn about Xavier or college basketball played by anyone other than Kentucky. My wife ( of 35 years )has already laid down the ultimatum that I WILL be there for the party, and I sincerely do not want to dissapoint my closest sibling.....but Hell, Damn, and Spit! What am I going to do if X does make it!? It's been my dream to see X in a Final 4...in person! I can't imagine missing it. I'd regret missing it for the rest of my life, but it I miss the party that might not be very long! Ugggg!

Anybody know where I can get a stunt double?

Time to make a deal. You'll do the reunion, but if X makes the Final Four and you can't attend, you'll be in Maui when X goes out there.

If X were to make the Final Four and your sister wouldn't understand you missing one of her 65 (and hopefully many more) birthdays, she's not that good of a sister anyway. Problem solved. Just kidding. Sort of. Not really. Not kidding at all.

It's not my sister that I'm worried about, I don't share a home (and a bed) with her......my wife is a different story and I have to sleep sometime.

I like the deal idea, but I have to reverse it....my wife absolutely LOVES Hawaii, I can take it or leave it.
