Xavier men's basketball is back at Cintas Center, and fans have the opportunity to experience several new and expanded offerings.

____
Some but not all of the highlights:

Pepsi – Xavier University has newly partnered with Pepsi, offering a wide variety of beverages. Check the concessions stands and snack stations for these new selections.
Duff's – The buffet-style menu returns, but new game day specials will be added this season. Patrons will now have the option to purchase a season pass to skip the lines and get a discounted rate for every home game! Season passes are only available for purchase during the first two regular season games, Nov. 11 vs. Lehigh and Nov. 14 vs. Buffalo – so act fast!
Enhanced Replays – New this year is a state-of-the-art, Grass Valley K2 Dyno video replay system allowing for up to six different angles of the action. In addition to enhanced replays, look for in-game video features highlighting an individual player's great run or the team hitting three after three. Also, for the first time, angles seen only on the TV broadcast will be available in-arena, including above the rim angles.
"Hoopy Hour" – Beat the clock specials will be offered at select games, so get here early and take advantage of discounted food offerings. The "Hoopy Hour" games include: Nov. 14 vs. Buffalo, Nov. 29 vs. North Dakota State, Dec. 20 vs. Eastern Washington, and Feb. 8 vs. DePaul.

I like the enhanced replays. I also prefer Pepsi (I'm prepared to be skewered for that).

the enhanced replays will be a great addition. The lack of replays/angles in the past always sucked

Coke is better than Pepsi, not even close. However, Mt. Dew is better than anything else, so net positive.

If they have Diet Mt. Dew, that would be the clincher on Coke v. Pepsi.

Of course, I've been to Cintas like 5 times ever, so my opinion matters not.

i am a big fan of Diet Dew, but I don't recall having a soda pop at a Xavier game.

I like the sound of the new replays. This update was neeeded and I'm excited to see the finished product.

I think Shannon Russell already confirmed that Diet Mountain Dew is indeed on the CIntas menu.

And someone said she doesn't get any scoops.

Tardy, don't make me bet you on more Dayton games and take more of your money!

Pepsi sucks. I can confirm that they serve Diet Dew in the 'Tas.

And they still didn't fix the worst problem...I have no idea what words come out of the speakers because the sound is so distorted.

It can sometimes be difficult to understand even the PA announcer though... that's somewhat essential to the game.

it can be hard to hear the PA announcer, but I don't think i have ever missed anything essential because of it

The Cincinnati Business Journal weighs in on the improvements (Link) (http://www.bizjournals.com/cincinnati/news/2016/11/02/xavier-upgrades-cintas-center-in-time-for.html).

The upgrade started with improvements for the student-athletes, including an academic center, last year. This year, Xavier has added a huge weight room that covers 5,000 square feet, more than double the old space.
But fans will start to notice changes, too, starting with a new Courtside Club underneath the stands and adjacent to where the players enter the court. Fans will be close enough to high-five players as they enter and exit the court before the game and at halftime. The club, available only to fans in the first row of 80 or so courtside seats, features a bar and plenty of seats.
“It’s the Dallas Cowboys effect,” Christopher said.
The Cowboys opened a similar space in their new stadium, and other teams, including the Cincinnati Bengals (http://www.bizjournals.com/cincinnati/news/2016/08/25/exclusive-here-are-biggest-changes-bengals-made-to.html), have followed suit.
