Why? Has there been a single problem at an X game that this would have prevented?

Or, like most modern inconveniences, is it because we let our imaginations run wild about some absurdly low risk of danger?

Well this sucks. The cynic in me assumes this is a way to get people in the building earlier to boost concession sales.

Who will be doing the wanding? They must be hiring an outside company. I can't imagine it will be the very kind, but generally very old ticket-takers.

Also, are they implementing this for other sports? If not, why not?

Seriously, I'm volunteering to frisk coeds. Nuts would be in charge of coed strip searches. MOR is my go to guy for sniffing out Flyer fakers dressed in blue.

Really seriously, I can still get the in the loading dock entrance with a 2006 Press row credential. Once again paranoia wins.

Not true. Obviously with the flood majority of soccer games moved off campus this season, but most seasons men get well over 500 in attendance with over 1000 for big games. They did wand the first 3 home soccer games I went to this season.
