Congratulations to Mr. Tambourine Man for winning the Nobel in literature today. Richly deserved. I vividly remember where I was when I first heard his music in 1963 or 1964, at the house of a HS friend who lived on the edge. I played in a bluegrass band in HS, and was immediately drawn into Dylan's music and lyrics.

One of the greatest songwriters of all time. Could you imagine him appearing on American Idol or The Voice? He'd get bumped immediately.

Great songwriter, but for all of the amazing and deserving authors out there, this is an insult. I'm not down on Dylan, I'm down on this decision.
