"CINCINNATI --- Xavier University announced its five-member Athletic Hall of Fame class for 2016-17 today, including men's basketball standout Stanley D. Burrell ('08), women's basketball All-Americans Amber S. Harris ('10) and Ta'Shia K. Phillips ('11), baseball's all-time winningest pitcher Louis J. Witte ('99) and popular broadcaster and media member Andrew P. MacWilliams. The new class will be inducted in the XU Hall of Fame at a dinner on Friday, Jan. 6, at Cintas Center and will be honored again at the men's basketball game on Saturday, Jan. 7 vs. St. John's at Cintas Center."

Andy Mac is such a class guy.

I sent him a congratulatory email and he responded with a two paragraph tome of thanks to me for the congratulations. That guy, like a guy like Dr. Bill Daily, did more to raise Xavier's profile than you can ever know. The battles that he had to get XU on WLW over the BoreCats are legendary and he has some incredible stories.

You KNOW, I'll be at that HOF dinner on Friday and the game on Saturday in January!!!!

Other than some costly turnovers, Burrell had a nice game today: big 3-pointers, a key pass at the end of the game, a game-securing steal. Martelli had seen enough:
