I hope he - can be - a lock down defender who can cover multiple positions at 6'5". (And not too enamored with 3 point shooting.) I trust Mack & Crew so this is great with me! Inspire a defender!

At a minimum, he adds depth. Prior to his commitment, X had 10 scholarship players, which is a little thin, especially if anyone gets injured.

Wasn't an elite defender at FAMU, but wasn't bad either. Advanced review graded him as average. He also played a lot of zone.

I think it's a fair to expect that he can guard multiple positions, though, which is perfect for the system.

Their admissions office is too picky.

Welcome to Cincinnati Mr. Bernard.

I'm glad we have someone who has worked so hard to improve his game. He became a leader on his team, playing to the best of his abilities.

I don't think this addition changes XU's outlook significantly, but I'm sure his role will positively affect both practice and games. It must be a relief that there is someone with multiple years of college ball under his belt and someone who hasn't shied away from stepping up when needed.

And not too enamored with 3 point shooting.

He shot 21% from 3 point range. I don't think we have to worry about him being enamoured with 3 point shooting.

And yet he took 57? I get it, different team, different world. Wasn't a ton anyway, a couple a game. I'm hoping he can become a Stanley Burrell type of shut down/conversion guy. (Yes, I'm a greedy jerk!) Do the job Remy was doing.

In Mack I Trust!

Guess the obvious nickname will be "Malcolm X".

I like his size. He's going to be help with depth. Not too excited other than he's an insurance policy more than anything.

Recent developments may make a claim on that policy.

No kidding, why do I really hate the timing on all of this.
