This was from before the draft deadline, so you can take Bentil and Whitehead off the list. It's cool to have a team with two POY candidates, Bluiett and Sumner. I was a little annoyed that they talked about Bluiett's field goal percentage dipping. That's because he shot a greater proportion of threes; his effective field goal percentage rose two and a half percentage points. Nevertheless, solid article. I think Josh Hart and Mo Watson will be the two to beat.

I think Watson would be an excellent bet with Creighton set up to take a step forward next year but I'm not sure how he and Marcus Foster will complement each other in the backcourt. They both seem like guys that need the ball to be effective, so until I see how that works I think Hart is a clear favorite for next season. Xavier may have a little too much talent overall for an individual award like this (usually a very good sign for us based on history) and other guys that will put up good stats may not have good enough teams.
