I'm starting to get excited for this year's draft. I haven't had much time this year to research much on the players. However, I do hope the Bengals select Alabama C Ryan Kelly with their first pick in the draft. I'm so sick of Russell Bodine. I know, it won't happen. The Bengals will most likely pick a WR. I'm a firm believer in spending high picks on lineman. You can always find receivers later - impact lineman not so much. Games (and championships) are won in the trenches. If the Bengals must pick a WR, I hope Josh Doctson somehow lasts to pick #24. I know, that probably won't happen either.

What say you? Who do you want the Bengals to pick?

As a Bills fan I'm generally looking forward to the draft by November, and by late in the first round they're picking guys I've never heard of!

I want the Bengals to select 245th overall, Remy Abell SG/WR Xavier.

On the NFL Network mock draft, Charles Davis selected Kelly for the Bengals. I think Bengals go WR though. I'd be happy with Doctson or Coleman (Baylor). Houston and Minnesota going right before the Bengals will probably take 2 WR's off the board though. So certainly not a lock Cincy goes WR.

I was listening to Lapham on Lance's podcast (ugh) and he thinks the Bengals will go with Coleman (or Fuller if Coleman is gone). Lap has an uncanny ability in predicting what the Bengals do. He definitely has inside info. If I were another NFL team looking to get info on what the Bengals might do, I'd listen to what Lap says. So I fully expect the Bengals to go with Coleman or Fuller. I wish it were Kelly though....

Would love to get some more Irish on the Bengals line.

Fuller in round 1 and Jaylon Smith in round 2. Sign remy to training camp.

I like Doctson, Coleman, Treadwell and Thomas better than Fuller.

No way Jaylon Smith goes Round 2 with that injury. I'd be ok with him later in the draft.

Coleman will be gone. Doctson too potentially.

But......Jaylon's camp said he'll be better in 2-3 months. They can't fib about that, can they?

Seriously, that really is tragic as he's a STUD. Hope he bounces back quickly, and I'm glad he had the insurance policy!

Two certainties of a Bengals draft:

1. The networks will go to commercial break when the Bengals are on the clock.

2. The Bengals will not use all of their allotted time. They will make their selection almost as soon as they are on the clock. Cause you wouldn't want to entertain trade offers.

The Jeremy Tunsil free fall: I,m 420 friendly, but no one is takin pix of me and tweeting it.

Why are picks taking selfies. There's plenty of tape to replay.

And now someone posted his text convos with his Ole Miss coaches about paying his mom's bills on his Instagram page. Someone is definitely out to ruin his life.

And now when asked if a coach paid him, Tunsil just said yes. Kid's night has been a train wreck.

Looks like he had been shopping the video around for a while, but never got any takers. So guess he said f-ck it and decided to screw Tunsil over on the biggest night of his life.

I hope all the bad things in the world happen to his step-dad.

A Deadspin commenter brought up an interesting point - did the Ravens and other teams pass on Tunsil simply because of the weed video, or did they think that there were simply going to be too many other distractions going on with him?

Is this the real NFL Draft, or are they shooting a sequel for the Draft Day movie that was released 2 years ago?

Pretty entertaining first round. Haha.

Anyways, I thought the Bengals did fine. The WR board got obliterated before they could make a pick so they went with the best player on their board. Can't fault that. A lot of draft "experts" are high on WJIII. It's a passing league and you can never have too many corners in my opinion. Plus, as an extra bonus, we kinda screwed the Steelers.

Looking forward to Day #2!

Yeah, I'm happy with WJIII considering the receivers were gone. Plus the Bengals are a bit thin at corner. Pacman had a career year, but ain't getting any younger. Dre struggled last year and Dennard is still a question mark. Hopefully they go WR in the 2nd round.

God bless poor Laremy Tunsil, the instagram is just him trying to keep the lights on at his mom's house. Someone absolutely despises him and wants to ruin his life.

Check the time stamps of the messages too. They don't exactly match up.

Dre struggled last year

Understatement of the year.

I believe last year was his 4th year in the league (maybe 3rd??) and he was just straight awful. Super inconsistent, misses tackles way too often and I can't recall him recording any interceptions last year...maybe he had 1 or 2 that I just don't recall, but that is beside the point. For a NFL starting corner to record 0-2 interceptions in a season, and miss as many tackles as he seemed to miss during the 2015 season is mind-boggling to me. For God's sake, he picked off Peyton Manning twice in one game the year before, potentially matching or exceeding his 2015 season+playoff interception total. Just unacceptable. It's not like opposing quarterbacks avoid him like other top corners..

After that Denver game in 2014, and his seemingly major improvement from his first couple of seasons, I expected a much better and improved 2015. If he does not perform in 2016, it is time to let go. After drafting him in the Top 20 a few years ago, I was expecting much more...extremely underwhelmed to say the least. What is his contract situation? I hope he becomes a reliable corner during the upcoming season, because we need a reliable corner (as Pacman is older and D. Dennard is still an unknown); but if he produces similar results to last season, time to cut bait.

That, and maybe he really WAS in the room with Nkimdiche the night he fell out the window. But yeah, serious dick material.

I'm shocked how no one really talks about how the Bengals missed on Dre and Denard. They still have time to develop but first round picks shouldn't be question marks. They should be contributors.

Should we be concerned that the Bengals entire draft class so far is from the AAC?

Huh? Pitt is in the ACC and Utah State is Mountain West.

I didn't like the Vigil pick at first, mostly because I never heard of the dude. But the more I read about him, the more I like it, even if it was a round early. Good athleticism, instinct and motor. He just needs to put on more weight.
