Wow. I didn't realize it was *that* bad down in Memphis. Sympathies to those local hoops fans. It'll be a long road back to respectability.

I'm guessing their coaching staff is angling to pick up some of these transfers too.

Worst part of that article for Memphis: "Pastner’s contract has four years remaining on it, and he is owned more than $10 million regardless of whether he is the head coach or not."

With all Matta's health issues, I'm surprised he hasn't retired. Supposedly he has a severe chronic back issue. Maybe others on his staff are doing the work he used to do, and are making a mess. Not that I give a shit what happens to OSU. Maybe he can become an AD somewhere.
