I had my Xavier sweatshirt on at work on Friday. I was walking through the hall and a guy I don't know says "hey, nice shirt." I assumed he must like X, so I asked if he was a Xavier fan. He says, "No, that's actually my name."

I saw that. The other night, Pitt got out to a 20-6 lead on Wisconsin, but then their offense looked like garbage and they couldn't put away the game. My hope is that X gets out to a similar start, but has the offensive balance to continue building the lead, instead of giving it up. Pitt and Wisconsin scored 90 total points between them and the stat I saw was that's the lowest combined score in an NCAA tourney game since Christ walked on water. Bottom line, if X plays good defense, scores in transition and limits turnovers, this game shouldn't be close. We shall see, I guess.

On a side note, I've rigged up my tv to be able to hear the games. Apparently it is very much on the loud side but my wife says it is ok for the entire tournament; a keeper, that one.

Could be the fact Jalen picked up 2 fouls in 10 seconds. Mack knows farr and jalen can dominate the interior. As long as we are close or winning he can rest them and save them for the last 5 minutes. Plus o'mara is getting some points back to make up for when he gives up a basket
