You can file this under "meaningless thing you notice when you're waiting for X to play tomorrow," but I noticed that 17 out of the last 20 times that X has appeared in the round of 64, they have been in the bottom half of the bracket in whatever region they're in. The only exceptions are in 1993 and 2007 when they were 9 seeds and 2009 when they were a 4.
Out of the 8 possible seeds in the bottom, X has now been 7 of them (2, 3, 6, 7, 10, 11, 14), only missing out on 15. X has been a 6 seed 5 times, most of any seed.
Again, meaningless, but I found it interesting. Carry on...
