I had a lot of respect for Creighton fans until I went to their board to see what they had to say about the game. While they aren't as bad as cryer fans (who could be, after all), they are a pretty sad lot. I know others on our board have spoken about how much they respect Creighton fans too, so I am posting the link to the game thread on their board. Start on p. 3.

I don't think it was so bad. Everyone hates Macura. EVERYONE. Other than Xavier fans, of course. And I have a hard time faulting any team's fans that only see Xavier once or twice a year from not like Jalen much, either. Hell, a lot of our own fans don't like Jalen very much a lot of the time.

Just seems like a couple of dudes bringing the vitriol. And, frankly, were they on the other team, I might have a few words about Reynolds and JP.

Good!! I'm glad everyone BUT US hates JP. He's in all their heads.

How about calling Farr a punk? I have a problem with that.

Yeah, that's hard to figure. Probably just because he was eating their ginger alive and laughing about it.

Yeah other than their comment about Farr, I can't really blame them. If Reynolds was on any other team, we would think the exact same thing about him...let's be honest he does something every freaking game. JP is like a fly that you can't get away from, and since he is on our team, i love it.

It's a good thing you haven't read what Butler fans were saying about Farr a couple of weeks ago in Indy.

Yeah, it wasn't too bad, although whining about flopping is ironic.

How can anyone hate the fine young man? He likes to chill with some chicken alfredo and to crank up the Coldplay?

Refs hate him, opposing players bait and bully him, and gingers flop like bitches when he gets within smelling distance of them.

Such a gentle giant, Jalen is very misunderstood.

Groselle is a leading candidate for an Oscar in 2017 for his performance on Saturday. He flip flopped more than John Kerry back in the day.

All I know about Creighton fans is that they don't travel very well.

Practically non-existent at Cintas Center on Saturday.

His favorite birthday present is money...

Which is perfect, because Jalen is so money!

But their players were quite adept at traveling and not getting called for it.

He is just awful, to the point where is embarrassing. All of their bigs flop but Ginger is the worst. I have watched several of their games and he does it every game. If he was in the NBA, he would be getting fined. BTW, he has no chance for NBA.

I am convinced this must be coached by their staff. It's infuriating.

Jalen would have avoided that being called a flagrant if he'd simply helped the dude up.

Did anyone catch JP trying to stick his head in some strategy huddle two Creighton guys were having near halfcourt during free throws. The ref tells JP to knock it off and JP gives it the "what rule says I can't follow them around and listen to what they say?" look. Nothing wrong with that but it's funnier when it's your guy, not on the other team.

Creighton fans are weak sauce. Yes, they fill the Century Link. And then they just sit there. Their atmosphere leaves much to be desired.

The ginger is very hate-able. As is Himmler, or whatever the name is of their third big of the bench who thinks he is the next Wragge. All of the bigs on Saturday hated each other. I don't mind. It's fun to watch.

Lastly, being there live, I could've sworn the ref blew the whistle before Jalen made contact on the flagrant call. Now, it was most definitely a foul, but that whistle came from the future. And the refs on Saturday sucked. They made the game nearly unwatchable.

Agree refs were bad. Fans are not there to see the refs not there to watch FT after FT. The whistles are killing college hoops.

Creighton's all time worst flopper has to be Ricky Kreklow, hands down. Anyone remember how he flopped on Myles last year in Omaha. He acted like he was just shot by a 12 gauge shotgun. Then he pretended his arm was dislocated. That was worthy of an Oscar nomination.

Seems to be a trait of McDermott coached teams. So Missouri Valley...

McDermott is a good coach, esp vs X. We've got superior talent, depth and scoring, yet the Jays -- barely top 100 rip --always make a game of it, and embarrassed us in Omaha. I enjoy seeing good college teams, and McD brings that.

Myles is a flopper as well. So what?

Gay-(fill in the blank)is so weak. Please, isn't there some more creativity here somewhere? Our team is 26-4, but this thread is barely .500.

For what it's worth, the commentators on TV said the exact same thing about the whistle blowing before Reynolds made contact.

No no no, Myles is not the level of flopper of Groselle. I actually find Groselle to be a horrible person. And you all may think this is a strong take to have about a college player. I disagree. He flops on pretty much every play. He argues and complains with the refs constantly. And he annoyingly and purposely claps and cheers near, around, or in the face of opponents when something bad happens to them. He's an ass sucker. He sees an ass, he sucks it. He's the type of person you'd never want to play a pick up bball game with or against because he just pisses everyone off and adds little to no value.

As XUMIOH12 pointed out, Groselle is 7 foot, 250 lbs. Yet somehow he managed to get "thrown" to the floor like a rag doll by a kid who looks like a bean pole (Sumner). Give me a break. Unless Groselle has the strength of a wet paper towel, that shouldn't be possible.

He has a high center of gravity due to all the rocks in his head.

He does it every game. I have watched at least 5 of their games this season. If the staff doesn't tell him to stop it than they are condoning it IMO.

The guy is a POS.
