Just announced: Trevon 1st Team, Ed Frosh Team
POY, COY, FOY to be announced later this week.
I'm kinda annoyed that Myles and a few other guys don't even get Honorable Mention while 3 guys from Butler make various teams.
Cue Stanley Burrell "We've got Champions in that locker room!”

You know Chris Mack is going to win COY and you know when he does Nova fans will feel exactly how we felt in the A10.
Although not sure if Wright won the last 2 years or not, if he did maybe not as much.

Kinda feel bad for Jimmy since I think he's definitely worthy of being mentioned as one of the top 6-7 bigs in the Big East right now, but then again the guys that got it were very deserving as well. Meh, mixed emotions.

I think I would rather win the Big East every year than win Coach of the Year every year.
Too bad they don't have a sixth man of the year.
We have so many people contribute that when you compare an individual players stats to someone on another team it is hard to keep up. It would have been nice to see Myles Davis as an honorable mention. It is a little frustrating because he is such an outstanding player.

Could we get first AND second place there?

Way to go Trevon and Edmond!
Trevon has a chance to be an All-American the next two years. Although not sure he will get enough minutes on a balanced team to push 20ppg. I think Xavier should win the National Championship this year to give Trevon the preseason publicity for next year.
Myles Davis and James Farr should have received Honorable Mention.

tough to get too many people on the All conference teams, but im surprised that we didnt even get 1 honorable mention. Our balance "hurts" some of our players cases, but still should have been one of them on there.

JP just won this. And Tre made 3rd team All-America for USA Today. Didn't see that one coming but that's awesome

Wow! I did not see JP winning 6th man, but after thinking about it, it is more than deserved. Really happy for JP. I think Farr had a great year, but most of his massive numbers were in the non-conference. Also awesome that Tre got 3rd Team All-American. Great to see these guys recognized! Also, pretty awesome that they are Sophs. ;-)
Next up COY for Coach Mack? It would be pretty surprising if he didn't win.

I think Farr was on track for an all-conference selection until he had a dip offensively for a solid stretch of the conference schedule. Up until that point, I would have called him the best center in the conference.

yeah he kind of leveled off a little bit throughout conference play. Tough to keep up the way he was playing for every single game

Kellen Dunham won the "Sportsmanship Award", I assume for kicking his leg out to draw "fouls" and complaining to the refs when someone's finger brushes his jersey.

does the "Sportsmanship Award" go to the biggest baby in the league?

I think it goes to the white person least like JP Macura.

Even though the award didn't go to The Main Man James Farr, I've always liked how he offers a hand to the opponent when they are on the floor. Don't know about anyone else but I notice stuff like that and it is impressive.

I kind of think they gave it to Dunham out of sympathy. Honestly I swear I'm being 100% objective, but I don't think in the 4 years I've watched him play that I've seen him talk on the court. So I guess yeah I've never seen him say anything negative to an opponent, but I've also never even seen him acknowledge an opponent. Pretty much keeps to himself. And by the sympathy part, Butler fans are crying because he only got honorable mention for a pretty average year from him. He was pre season 1st team and he was on the final guys cut for the USA team in the summer. Not that Dunham isn't good, but I think everyone expected a better year from him.
