YTG just has no concept on how to coach offense- especially in crunch time. Just put the ball in somebody's hands to go 1 on 1 and hope. No wonder they've lost all those close games.
By the way neither of these teams deserve to be in the Dance.

I think Cronin is a really good defensive coach. I'll admit it. But, I'm astounded at how bad he is as an offensive coach, considering the talent he has. He doesn't really recruit offensively dynamic players, but his starting lineup is still something that most A10 coaches would make a killing with.

The MEAC has been a good game. Most of the games in the tournament have been good.
I'd love to see SC State win this. I'm actually serious. A year ago, there was talk of closing down the entire campus for two years. It's been fun watching them have a better than expected year in basketball, and I'd love to see them have something to feel really good about when they have had so little of that in recent years. Athletics, and otherwise.

They've been doing it for the NBA games too, it's been super weird, the first time I saw it, I thought it was just that particular court, and then I kept watching and was like what the hell.. you can just look at the refs hands to know whether it's a 3 or 2, but maybe their tailoring their broadcast for some of the tools that aren't as sharp in the shed.. *cough* Dayton, UC *cough*

Worse yet for the A10, it only got 3 teams into the Tournament, and its conference champion landed an 8 Seed. While it's fair to point out that the Bonnies may have been screwed, it still is an absolute fact that the A10 is, well, not all that any more.

Providence and Butler are both unpredictable. Providence has the best 1-2 punch in college basketball and can just take over a game, but 3 through 13 are pretty weak. Butler has a fantastic offense and if their defense is just respectable, they can take teams out, but on average their defense sucks.

No, but there were many in the media- and not just the 4 letter network- that were saying the Big East was now just a mid-major league (looking at you Mike DeCoursey) that the AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAC and after last year's A10 number of Dance bids, were better positioned, would have a higher success ceiling and outshine the Big East. (Oh yeah, there was that "Requiem" thing).
Fact is, there is no comparison. All the big honk schools are gone (UCon, 'Cuse) that used to bring half the Garden crowd, but looky here who has actual butts in the seats, with excitement while others are fluffing attendance numbers with nothing but air.

All the more reason to bust the F-ing door down this year with good runs for all Big East teams. That being said, the locals will be more drawn to MSG because Barclays tix will be snapped up by Carolina and Dook honks. "City" people ain't going to Brooklyn. More interesting to me will be when the Big 10 tries their party at MSG a week earlier than the Big East. I can tell you that I'll be there in person for sure the next two years.
Screw the interlopers. At least the A10 has a school in New York. The Big 10 coming to NY is a real joke.
