Our own JP Macura #6 on the list.

I'm guessing he earned the spot through some combo of his scoring flurries and his ability to antagonize opponents.

FIFTY players who could make noise in March!!

Wow, he's kind of painting with a really broad brush there, isn't he??

FIFTY!

I should write an article about 100 teams that could make the Final Four.

I don't want to hijack the thread, but he opens the article with this...

[/March is just a few weeks away, and I'm so eager for the arrival of the sports calendar's preeminent month that I'm already prepping for the madness

Why so eager?? There's plenty of great basketball going on right now. I love March. But, I love November, December, January, and February too. In fact I probably like November the most because we're seeing these teams for the first time, and there are so many big games with all the exempt tournaments. There are more games during the week of Thanksgiving than any other week of the season. March doesn't just fall out of the sky. There's great basketball all season long that leads into March. When I hear people say this, I want to ask them why they wait so long to start watching if they really do love March that much.

Anyway, I'm off my soap box.

That and that recent, water fountain shaking dunk at the Tinkle Fieldhouse1975

I believe is is 50 because he doesnt have any 2 players on the list from the same team. So he basically picked one guy from 50 different teams. 16 or so being from mid majors.

Okay, that actually makes sense.

You're probably right. The problem is that I'm never at home, so I don't have any time to get out more.

Good one Yogi.

It's the ironic truth. I like most of the things about the world that I live in, but having more free time would be nice.

Honestly there's a number of players on our team that could make noise in March, Jalen could break out, Tre could break out, Myles could break out. That's the beauty of this team, we're so deep and balanced that you could have put almost anybody on that list and it would have made sense. Though let's not take away from JP, he's been great lately, and hopefully his good play continues, and he keeps getting under the skin of people. It'll help us out a lot in the long run.

Ehh, some, but it's not the same. I've noticed that the better their team is, the more interested they are in their own team and the less interested they are in obsessing over other teams. So, it's not nearly as interesting as it used to be when half the threads were either about Xavier, the Big East, or Wright State. They're also no longer convinced that the NCAA and the selection committee are rigged against them now that they're good enough to actually make it.

Question: Why so eager?

Answer: You clicked. I clicked. We ALL clicked!

I actually do love it, because I see the articles but can never read them. D-West & Po-Z usually then gives a summary which I appreciate, but some people get mad because you're supposed to pay for the access? Don't know why they care but whatever

Insider is actually dirt cheap, but I don't do it because I resent that they think they're the high and mighty only source of news. There's plenty of other stuff for me to read. (Then I wish I could read that too, at times.)

I barely read any of the free news. I sure as hell don't pay for any of it.

I don't know, I was in a pretty sweet basement lately. I thought of hiding away....they'd never know I was there. Of course, the house was listed for $25 million. As a Supporting Member I'm a high roller, but I'm just a tad light for that house. (One tad = $25 million)
