I hope he's getting closer to being 100% healthy. I believe we will need him tonight .

I believe Farr should sit for 2 reasons.
1. Get 100%. This team realistically has higher goals than a conference championship so losing that in exchange for a healthy Farr is fine by me.
2. Jalen has no cushion. Jalen would know he is the only athletic big we have and he would HAVE to stay out of foul trouble. May as well teach him how to do it under fire cause it will pay off in a month

Looks good in pre game warm ups, but I like me some Kaiser Gates in this game.

The only one who showed up to this game.
Jalen had a decent enough line except for the one that read 5 for 15. Mack was critical of the opportunities missed by Reynolds.

If you're gonna sit Farr, then give me some more minutes to Sean O'Mara. Face it, he's gonna be our starting center next season and has not nearly gotten the minutes he needs (which Mack has verbally acknowledged, but continues to do nothing about). He couldn't have done any worse against Creighton's bigs than Reynolds and Farr did.

I thought Reynolds and Austen both played well

How could he not have done worse than Farr? Farr was excellent last night.

LAJ was good, but I didn't think Reynolds was that great. 5/15 shooting. Took too many bad shots and missed way too many 4 footers. Needs to be much smarter in his shot selection.

I've felt for a while that O'Mara could be a very pleasant surprise for many before he's done. He looks to have solid moves around the basket that Jalen could learn from. He's not as athletic obviously, but has pretty good feet to play D and is ahead of Farr at this point in his development.

His FT shooting was a nice surprise last night. I think he was 4-4 on a couple of 1-and-1 opportunities that kept us within shouting distance.

Jalen seems to decide to shoot without having much of a clue about where the basket is. I don't know why he hasn't developed a more refined post game. Others have with the same coaches.

Jalen's shot around the rim is awful to say the least. Great athlete in space and pick and roll, but the rest of his game is bad. O'Mara is money around the rim on the other hand.

Good description. It's embarrassing to be honest.

Yeah, knowing the basket is "somewhere to the north" is just not enough information. It's like SCUDs from 4 feet! (And one, inexplicably, from outside the arc!)

Jalen needs to take advantage of his power dunks around the basket. He needs to move his feet around the basket and anticipate in rebounding. He has the strength and hoops to be great if he would apply them. Please try Jalen !

On the bright side, JR may decide or be told that he is not ready for the NBA or oversea and he need to stay for another year.

O'Mara reminds me of Will Caudle.
Big, not very reliable (unless you count 3-4 points) none last night. And a horible ft shooter.
Down 5 and he misses 2 clutch ones.

O'Mara is not a good free throw shooter, but otherwise this isn't true. He's shooting 61% from the field and has a variety of post moves to boot, and that's with a fairly high usage rate, 21.2% (label of "significant contributor")

I find that part of his game very encouraging. VERY, for a sophomore.
