More sad news out of the Butler camp - I'm hearing from HolyLandofHoops and ButlerHoops that assistant coach Emerson Kampen's 6-month-old son died of Leigh's disease 2 days ago. I just cannot imagine what their program has had to go through this season.

How horribly sad. They've had more than their fair share of sadness lately. Life sure can make basketball seem petty.

Seems like when it rains it pours sometimes. Gotta give Butler credit for seemingly staying so focused game in and game out.
