Overall I'm really impressed with the job the staff has done so far this season. With 9 games left before the Conference Tourney, is 20 wins still on the radar? I don't know much about the other squads left on the schedule. We play Butler at home next, and we beat them earlier this year at Hinkle.

The schedule finally caught up to the ladies with the 3-game losing streak against DePaul, at Seton Hall and at St. John's. They did get a win over Villanova earlier this year, though.

If Xavier can avenge the Creighton loss and maybe steal either the return game from Seton Hall or St. John's, I'd be happy.

What does X look like next season? Who do they lose, versus who's coming in? I don't follow the women's game as much as I should.

They have three seniors this season.

* Briana Glover is a forward who was on the preseason All-Big East team, has been named to the Big East Weekly Honor Roll four times, and surpassed the 1,000 point mark this season. She went to Mason and is the daughter of Cedric Glover, who played for UC.

* Aliyah Zantt is a guard and probably the top shooter on the team. She's been named to the Big East Weekly Honor Roll twice, and leads the team in 3's (her next one will the her 100th of her career), assists, and steals (and is second in rebounding). She's from Reynoldsburg (Columbus area).

* Jenna Crittenden is a guard from Ryle (Northern Kentucky- same school that Justin Doellman went to). She's battled through injuries most of her career, but probably my favorite on the team due to her hustle.

All three have helped steady the ship from a team that was 8-20 the year before they arrived to 18-15 last year and 14-6 so far this season. Raeshaun Gaffney, a guard from Fairfield who leads the team in scoring and rebounding, is just a junior this season. I have not seen anything about recruiting.
