Greenberg has X ranked 10th in this week's power rating. WTF? Here is the link: http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/powerrankings/_/show/first.

UNC #1?!? Based on what other than reputation? I suppose Northern Iowa must be in the top 5 then? Top 10? No?

Greenberg loves to throw shade in the general direction of the Big East.

This one made me laugh the other day:

Nova Butler playing so hard! Not great teams but this is a great game! @ESPNCBB

Douche. What a ridiculous tweet. He's probably still salty about Dante's halfcourt buzzer beater in Puerto Rico.

Everyone can go. Even I could go. Just have to buy tickets and get there. This is what happens when the only thing worth writing about the other team in town is about a settlement because their sports teams aren't getting it done.

Seth "NIT" Greenberg. I don't listen to coaches who made made the NIT more than the NCAA tournament.

He's a shill for the ACC. Just because you coached in the ACC doesn't mean you're a good coach - just ask the dozen or so Georgia Tech fans.

You may remain seated Seth. That wasn't your flip phone ringing from any D1 school....ever.

I'm no Photoshop expert, but is there a way that we can add Seth Greenberg to the Messin With Sasquatch ads?

On a side note, is Virginia Tech slowly becoming good enough that they could be on the wrong side of the bubble again? Wouldn't mind seeing Buzz Williams on the short end while Marquette goes dancing instead.

He dropped them from 7th last week to 10th this week, but only dropped Maryland from 3rd to 5th. This past week, Maryland lost to a team X beat by 16.

If you weren't going to have Kansas or Oklahoma at the top of your list, I don't see how you can have anyone other than Villanova there. #1 in KenPom and Sagarin. Top 15 SOS in both.

It's a fine line between analyst and analist.

I've heard almost every analyst at some point this year mention that they think UNC is the most talented team in the country pretty matter-of-factly. I think most of them jumped at the chance to rank them again. They do put up a lot of points.

I have as well. They lost some bad games on the road, but they do have the MD home win. They don't seem to have quite jelled yet. And I think the sense is that their best is yet to come. If that's the case, they they may well be a #1 team. I just don't see it yet, and most other programs don't get that kind of "boost".

Seth Greenberg has always annoyed me for some vague reason, going back to his USF days. I'm glad this gives me something specific to point to.

UNC hasn't been fully healthy yet this year. Although it's provided a lot of opportunities for some of their guys to come in their own like Brice Johnson and Justin Jackson. Marcus Paige and Kennedy Meeks have both missed 1/3 of their games, which are obviously 2 very important starters. I agree they aren't the #1 team today, but when they have a full roster, I think they do have the most talent from top to bottom

This...Seth Greenberg is beyond worthless...He was one of those coaches who wasn't worth a damn, but was an excellent bullshitter with the media. So he gets a job as ESPN, along with asshole supreme Dan Dakich..., and Mike Tirico, who I read the other day has had more than one sexual harassment accusation against him from females at ESPN.

Yea, I mean there's really no rhyme or reason to the power rankings. Each voter's picks are all over the place from week to week.

I don't want to sound like a contrarian. I'm thrilled with our #5 ranking (and think we deserve--and have earned--it). But some (like me) would counter that the variation in the voter's picks is a good thing because it suggests they are actually trying to rank the teams in real time instead of just moving teams up or down in lockstep based on wins/losses.

Greenberg is a clown, just like Buzz Williams. I don't think I have any respect for anybody that coached Virginia Tech basketball. I don't take anything he says seriously, the ACC bias will always be there.
