View Full Version : Andrew Smith
I know he's not a Xavier guy, but former Butler center, Andrew Smith, from their 2 FinalFour teams, has Lymphoma, and nothing they have tried has worked. In fact his Nov. bone marrow transplant, actually made the condition worse. Celtics coach Brad Stevens, skipped his game with the Bulls, to visit Andrew, so you know the condition is dire. His wife has said on social media, that they need a miracle at this point.
As a former and current rival, maybe send a prayer his way.

I saw that, done. Great that Stevens could and would do that. Prayers sent.
Stevens really is a different breed. The Celtics are lucky to have him. Seems like a Prosser type guy, only with much higher BBall IQ.

Prayers sent up for him dawg.
It's a terrible affliction at any age; it simply isn't fair to take out a young person, especially a young man like Andrew.

I suppose this was pretty obvious when Brad Stevens skipped an NBA game to go see him, but Andrew Smith's wife says doctors have told them tha his death is "imminent".
