Mount intrigued me after the SI cover story. When the 3 point shot was introduced, I thought of what he could have done with it. Gifted shooter with that rare "dead" shot that seemed to drop off the rim. AVERAGED 14 field goals a game as a senior.

I'm not an Indiana native, so I'm not up on Mount being a recluse, just going with Greg Doyel commentary., which says otherwise. Shoots around with the Lebanon girl who broke his school scoring record. Went to Lebanon games regularly until past two years.

Mount w as a spectacular jump shooter, I know that. He took Pudue to the NCAA final. It's good to hear he's going to attend.

So Knight is an ass, I never would have known. He would be less so if he showed up to honor the 76 team, something that might redeem him partially and start a reconciliation with Indiana.

I was/am hoping for both to accept the invitation. Going to the grave unresolved and alienated from the source of one's most enduring life accomplishments is a sad way to be human.
