When we beat Nova, we should be ranked above MSU. Go X.

We really could have a chance to be ranked #1 if we go 2-0 this week. How crazy would that be?

Most everyone in the top 6 have a tough game on Saturday so it would be possible with a nice 2-0 week. That is just wild to think about. I will be more than THRILLED if we win these 2, regardless of what next Monday's polls rank us!

That was a fun game to watch, but it just reiterates how hard conference road games can be. I want this Nova game so bad.

Voters are dumb and will just move Kansas and Oklahoma up to 1 and 2, plus they will be thinking "Oh boy, it will be sweet to have #1 vs #2 play each other Monday!". But X should definitely at least get some #1 votes if they do go 2 - 0 this week.

You must be a fan of Gary Parrish's Poll Attacks:

And yes, someone moved GW up 3 spots after their loss at DePaul last week (http://www.cbssports.com/collegebasketball/eye-on-college-basketball/25430760/poll-attacks-you-work-30-miles-from-gw-and-still-missed-the-loss-to-depaul)

It is worth pointing out that Michigan State doesn't have Denzel Valentine. Iowa is also a snake pit for a home court. It's very tough to win there. That was a rather predictable result. In the end, I don't think it hurts Michigan State at all. If Valentine comes back and they start winning all their games again, the committee will just kind of overlook that loss.

Yeah, as long as Valentine comes back, MSU will be fine and dangerous in March as usual.
