I guess it's now time for X to start playing the "we're disrespected because no one gave us any first place votes" card? ;)

Assuming they take care of business against Wake Forest it will be strange going into that NYE game ranked higher than Villanova . . .

Vandy and Gone-zaga getting way too much respect with 3 losses apiece.

But 4 Big East Teams in the Top 17 almost at the end of the Non-conference schedule. More like it.

Love UC being 1 spot behind GW, who they beat.

40% of our league is in the top 17.

Hell, UVA is 15 spots ahead of GW.

And Seton Hall has a chance to maybe slip in there at some point if they keep playing well. (And, yeah, I know they don't have any votes now.) GTown? Not so much.

Awesome. Let's hope they stay hungry and humble. This team still hasn't reached it's ceiling yet.

On another note, I see Gonzaga is back in the Top 25 at 8-3. Also, Nova should be higher than 17. They should be in the 14-15 spot.

Also interesting that #6 (X), #12 (Butler) and #14 (Providence) are the three highest ranked teams that were unranked at the beginning of the season. Hmm, all Big East schools . . .

Ratings are nice for alums, fans and most important as a help in recruiting. MOR, I really don't care about other school's ratings. I only want a 'W' Tuesday night in Winston Salem and after that everything else is gravy....Whatever, the Big East this year is going to be the toughest w home and away we've seen. Hope I'm wrong, but I'll be satisfied with that victory and then it's one at a time.

A voice of reason. Thanks, Bear. It's great to be undefeated, but the league is full of winners who are going to catch a hot night or catch us on a cold night. Chickens, hatch, etc.
