My nephew just graduated from MSU and I was in the Breslin Center for the ceremony on yesterday. I was EXTREMELY impressed. Really nice arena. The feature that I liked the best is that the "regular seating" started about 10 rows back from where the court would have been. In between the nice chairs all the way around the bowl, are bleacher type seats that pull out. For games, the low bleacher seats are there for the students. The chair seating is nice and tight and still close to the game, but to have the 10 rows of students all the around the court must be really nice. Given the "dead crowd" debate going on right now with the Auburn game, it would be really nice is Cintas could incorporate something like this for the renovations. I know that is not in the cards....but it seems really cool.

Some of the images tell the story better than I can.

Breslin Center is definitely one of the top facilities in the country. Fortunately, Xavier doesn't have a "dead crowd" problem that it needs to address, as we enjoy one of the top home court advantages in the country.

I think Planters may have named Xavier's fans the nuttiest once.
