DC,

For some reason, I'm having trouble sending private messages, so I'm posting here. I also think others will probably get a kick out this, as I'm sure you will.

You and I had some amusing (in hindsight) interaction a few years back about Georgetown, Jesuit universities, and their relative adherence to the Catholic faith. In the intervening years, I enrolled and received a Masters from Georgetown, and my experience with the Jesuits was nothing short of wonderful, especially when I dealt with some unexpected family trauma. I thought you'd find some delicious irony in that, given that I made some rather aggressive comments about the school's supposed failings in its Catholic mission. Even the most trenchant opinions can be changed, eh?

Ahhhhhhhh, don't worry about it. Someday in the distant future, DC will morph into an overblown, hubris-ridden Super-opinionated crankmaster, but for now, he is the biggest Milquetoast around. It's almost aggravating how he just quietly accepts others' views. :lol:

Another point - before anyone asks, I absolutely root for X over Georgetown every time they play, even though I have a Georgetown degree and never attended Xavier. I will never root for the Hoyas, even though I do admire JTIII, unlike his frequently off-putting father.

I had forgotten you could check last activity. I checked on some of our more esteemed missing posters, and I noticed that one asshole poster named Coach Mack jointed in February 2010, made one post and never returned to the site after that day. Not even once.

Yes Tiger, but if I left who would be around to remind you of the sage advice you were given several years ago? Always remember, it's never a good idea to play I've got the biggest dick in a room full of strangers. Funny stuff!

It is 10 am on the morning of the Crosstown Shootout, and sweet16 is still a total A-hole.

It's also not a good idea to play the most adversarial, curmudgeonly cuss in a room full of people of good cheer.
