They weren't hitting their shots, but they were moving the ball well and got some really good looks, and played decent defense forcing us into mainly long jumpers. Then the 25-0 run happened, and they completely fell apart.

The attempted dunk actually guaranteed the foul. A layup attempt or a pass might have avoided contact when contact was beneficial.

Well, I got 3 out of 5 right on that summary. Wright State has now somehow won 22 games and is playing for an NCAA Tounament auto bid after beating Oakland in Detroit last night.

I had the same opinion about Wright State. I thought they were terrible. I didn't think they would win 10 games. In retrospect, I think part of my opinion was based on X being so good. They've made some decent teams look awful (see also Alabama, USC, and Dayton).

Of course, there's also the possibility that the Horizon is just bad this year.

I lost several games betting against Wright State due to the impression they left in Cintas. I finally caught on and stopped betting on their games.

Xavier was absolutely rolling at that point. Also, the Horizon league has some teams that are awful, especially on defense.
