BIG EAST Rank 2nd in recruiting

Not sure if anybody has seen this but the Big East is 2nd only to the ACC as far the avg Stars an athlete has. Marquette Avgs a 3.6 same as GTown.

Are the ratings (average stars) for all players on the team, or just commits for next year? If it is just commits, Xavier's rating is 3.75 stars using their data (showing a 4-star and a 3.5-star for next season). Something is strange about their math, not to mention the fact that they leave out one of our commits for next season (that kid from Canada who also is a 4-star).

The recruit from Canada starts at X in January. So I don't think he counts for this recruiting class.

This recruiting thing is getting a tad out of hand. Your incoming class for the following season are your eligible to play freshmen. E.G., yes Sumner was technically with LAJr, O'Mara, Blueitt, and Macura, but in my eyes he is now with London and Gates. He could play 4 years at XU and his class are the guys he would be here for the full 4 years.

Like Sumner, London was also officially with the former class. Gates was in a class by himself.

The recruit from Canada is PF/C Eddie Ekiyor.

Funny a couple of years ago, Mike DeOfCoursey, who is a huge SucKS and Yellow Toothed Gnome honk, was dogging the Big East and pimping the AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAC. I called him out on it in a Twitter message exchange about the Big East's stellar recruiting classes and TSN Mike wrote back that recruiting classes meant nothing- only what was on the court. The last two years have proven how much better the Big East is than that crap, sloppy seconds AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAC league.....but according to ol Mikey, it means nothing.

Whether he does or doesn't, the numbers in the verbalcommits link don't add up for X. The average of the two commits they list for X is 3.75 stars by their own star listing for them. Sloppy work indeed.
