What I've enjoyed is watching the team get stronger. Early, we looked a bit lost with the new look inside ... response: get Jalen started early. Choppy first few games for each of our shooters ... get them going one at a time. Michigan taught them they could play with anyone anywhere. NKU taught them they are fallible if they don't stick with it. And Mack called out the deep benchers after that game ... response: way improved play by London, O'Mara (and a SportsCenter Top10). vs Dayton - after the USC game, the concern is that we could play one good half, response ... speaks for itself.

yes, but going in this was considered a very quality field, and Xavier DOMINATED the tourney. I think that, and the words of DV, will carry a lot of weight with some voters and this team might see a 12-13 ranking.

But rankings don't really mean anything anyway.....just keep winning!

Doesn't matter although the ranking does help with exposure and recruiting I think. I love this team. They play well together, share the ball and genuinely look like they all get along very well. That's a very good recipe for success. Looking forward to next Saturday!!! Get some well deserved rest fella's!!

We've won four games away from home, and clobbered two likely tournament teams. So, we'll probably drop in the rankings. I'm convinced that the voters don't really watch the games.

In all seriousness, I'd be shocked if we weren't top fifteen. If Providence wins tonight they should be top fifteen as well.

On the team, I thought we would see them play quality ball like we have in this tournament. I just thought we'd struggle a bit early in the year, and then be playing like this around halfway through the conference schedule. I'm very glad to be wrong on that.

We had the possibility of beating 2 ranked teams for the Championship, but they both sucked out and we got USC and Dayton. Beating Alabama, USC and Dayton is not that impressive to most people, and that is for a reason.

Initially I felt we would be around 18 due to the lack of respect and the fact that the teams we beat this week were not ranked. However, I searched for some voting ballots for this week and found 4. Links below. They ranged from 10 to 16 (10, 12, 13 & 16). So, if these are representative, fellows it does seem we will be a top 15 this week. YEEEES!

I don't know. ND isn't exactly a basketball powerhouse, so having them lose to Alabama in general doesn't seem like such a big deal. I wouldn't have expected it this year, though.

Yeah when I was starting this thread and making my prediction I was thinking mostly AP as it usually is a truer reflection of the college bball landscape.

So again in AP I think we could be anywhere from 12-15 but I will guess 14.
