So here is a list of dumb things Dayton fans are saying about X before the game tomorrow. You really have got to wonder sometimes if the Air Force Base up there does experiments on these poor fools. Please add anything else you might have heard or seen.

Didn't they see the stat about UD having such a good record against the top conferences in the country over the last 9 years? After this game, when we play a team from a top conference again, we'll be ready

If we play like tonight, we win by 20.
X is not as good as Montmouth was tonight (or last night).

Btw, for the Xavier fans reading this, as a city Cincy is not that different from Dayton -- I say this as a San Francisco Bay Area resident whose parents were born and raised in Cincinnati.

I will be at the game, cheering loudly, wearing my 2003 vintage BEAT XAVIER tshirt (brought to Orlando "just in case").

Does this website have the capacity for this?

VD fans are dumb in general, but their jealousy of Xavier completely blinds them.

I would love to know how many Dayton fans still wear those T-shirts with pride.

That said, I can't wait to read the previews that our friends at Blackburn Review will have for tomorrow. It is time for Xavier to resume its role as the Overlords.

I really don't follow Xavier anymore but based on what I saw in Orlando, I don't think they are better than Iowa

Three years have passed, and we've no longer played _avier. Something magical has happened in that 3 years. Dayton Flyers basketball has flourished!!! We've won 5 NCAA tournament games been to an Elite Eight and are now firmly on the national scene. The talking heads are taking notice. Dare i say the programs in my honest opinion are back to being on equal footing.

Dayton you won a play-in game on your home court then got sent to Columbus. Let's not get carried away. You had one good year and honestly if OSU makes that basket you're not talking about Elite 8. You guys have 18 more years of consistent success to be equal to X. Even if somehow you pull off a miracle tomorrow and beat X, which you won't, but if you do you're still not even in the same ballpark as X. You guys play in the A-10and X isn't there that's why your winning. I hate VD!

I have a shirt that was made from about 10 years ago that says "Beating Dayton" on the front and "A Xavier Tradition" on the back. Love that shirts.

The A-10 is having by far the best non con I can remember. The bottom of the league seems much improved and is the lift that was needed.

Yeah completely different. I like that too. A shirt just to say "beat whatever team" seems like it is a much bigger deal to the one school when the other doesnt make shirts for that school.

"The Flyers have been ahead of X since they left the A10, I don't see why that changes tomorrow."

AM knows the significance of this game to the fans. This is Dayton vs XU. What I love most is that this is home game for UD. There is no way Mack is happy playing a championship game on what should be a neutral court.

That sucks no Xavier fans showed up to watch X play. Thank God for the other teams fans who showed up to cheer X on.

Anybody notice that VD's coach is a time of day? Do any of their fans call their coach by their real name? OP, BG, AM

I've been watching since 1992, and I think this is the best basketball team we've put on the floor. The 2013-2014 team had great chemistry but not superior talent IMO. Previously I liked the KW / SF / RM / Mark Jones / Monte Scott team from 2003.

MIGHT WANT TO RETHINK THAT STATEMENT BUDDY.

If Xavier plays like this every night they will be national champs...they aren't this good and we aren't this bad. Just one of those nights.

Wow if they really said that. But it's true. Why would dayton want to join the Big East when you're getting beat by 29?

Very appropriate posting that today, because Louisville beat them by approximately 100 points in that game.
