Just curious how many people are actually coming up for this game. Sounds like we'll have about 50 students and hopefully a lot more others. I live 25 minutes from Crisler so I've been more excited about this game than any other game I've been to.(Especially since half my high school went to Michigan and trash talking has been going on for months) I'll be fronting section 101 and letting Michigan have it. Who's in?

My sister lives in Ann Arbor, so I had this circled as soon as it was announced.

I'll be there Thursday for the women- don't have tickets yet, but for $5 you get a ticket a drink and a hot dog (http://www.mgoblue.com/sports/w-baskbl/spec-rel/111715aaa.html). I saw one of Michigan's starters is named Kelsey Mitchell. So both Michigan AND Ohio State have a Kelsey Mitchell. Weird.

Friday I think I'm in 211 (the tickets are with my sister).

It sounds like I'll be getting a double dose of the Red Panda, too.

I'll be at the WBB game tonight and the MBB game tomorrow (Sec 123, Row 9). I'll be at the Friday pregame reception (https://alumni.xavier.edu/ccon/events_activities.do?action=viewEventFromCalendar&frompage=calendar&event_id=GAVT5) hosted by the Detroit and Toledo chapters at the Sheraton. There is also a Xavier grad who runs a restaurant in Ypsilanti (Bono Sera) that I will try to visit. Staying at the HGI.

Regarding the reception thing ... I'd expect the provided appetizers to be enough for a meal (but maybe not a food bargain given the door charge), but what I do know is that the Detroit / Toledo chapters have been waiting a long time for a game in the area and have reached out to some former players and have done some other things to make it a nice event.

Four of us will be there Friday night. Then rolling out right after the game to get to Columbia, MO for UT @ mizzou. Had this booked before the nonsense, it's part of our quest to see every SEC stadium

I am taking my sons. I haven't bought the tickets or made the hotel reservations yet. I am probably not going to the reception just because I am cheap and would rather not fork out $60 for me and the kids when I can go to pregaming at some rustic Michigan haunt. I have never been to Ann Arbor and my kids are excited to see it.

Just booked the deluxe Presidential Suite at the Red Roof Inn South.

$60 is a righteous price for a hotel. I am picking up my kids from school and heading up a little before 3 pm.

I hope to be checking in around 7. My kids want me to pull them out of school early, but I think my wife would put me in the hole.

My boys will be hungry, so we plan to get right at it around 7. Will be travelling by cab once we check in. The guy at the hotel says they are plentiful.

I really need to figure out how to download the UBER app but my youngest messed with my phone.

And if someone wants to give us a lift, I will enroll you in one of my life-coaching sessions for free. Don't be bashful my Muskie brethren!

Keep me apprised of the game plan gentlemen!

I finally figured out to add the UBER app. That looks like it makes my logistics much better. Ann Arbor seems to have a healthy amount of UBER drivers and the trip from the Red Roof Inn is only 7-9 bucks. Hell it is less than 2 miles you could walk there in half an hour. Not that I plan on that. I am .4 miles from the Sheraton where the pre-game reception is being held.

Looking at my phone it looks like the drive only takes 3 hours and 40 minutes in good traffic. If we don't stop and make good time we can get there closer to 6 than to 7. I might be able to make the reception if that is where people are going.

Didn't look like you could still sign up for the $15 rate tonight, or at least I didn't see it on my web page. Probably because we are within the 24 hour window the advance sale might be shut off?

On another thread it mentioned that kids are free for the reception. My 14 year old is taller than me and my kids would eat all of the appetizers. They don't qualify for kids meals at restaurants any more at 14 & 12, so I may seek some clarification on that.

I would also be up for going to some ancient place of Michigan legend for pregame but I don't have any of the sacred knowledge of where that is. Still haven't got my tickets yet, plenty are available on the net and the game still hasn't sold out, so not really worried and want to see if the prices collapse as we get closer to game time. Looks like I will be up in the rafters.

im NOT wearing harbaugh khakis, but I will be in nosebleed 214.

Detroit and Toledo alums hosting pregame 6-8 at the Sheraton. I will be there, and will have pockets full of Detroit bankruptcy bailout moolah to front drinks for that cheapskate Snipe and his poor sons b-- if the Uber driver can stand the life coaching long enough to get him there.

If they say kids are free, I would take them at their word. Doubt they're trying to make a killing off this. It's just a Chapter function. I've been to many before, usually before Dance games. They are fun and you will run into somebody you haven't seen in a while. Fr. Graham has been to all the one's I've been too. Give him shit about Dez Wells. LOL. Good place to get spare tickets too.

The invite says nothing about the kids being free, that was from a poster on this board. And I don't know the definition of kid either, because my oldest is close to 6 ft tall and my kids will eat all of the appetizers. I wasn't kidding about that. If I don't stop on the way up to make it early as possible they will be famished. I guess I can call them tomorrow and ask. And I know that they just want to cover costs and have a great time. No ill will from me brother BobbieMcGee. I am all for the Muskie Nation getting it on.

I am pumped up to make the trip. Ann Arbor is an easy ride, tickets are cheap if you sit up high, and my room was $60. This is the easiest road trip ever. And my kids will get off my back for finally taking them on the road. It is a win.

If possible, leave as early as you can. There's a ton of construction between Findlay and Toledo, and then also a large project between Toledo and the Michigan boarder (I-475/23 split in NW Toledo). I heard on the new this morning that starting at 11p tonight, ODOT will be shifting the lanes from Findlay to BG. Save travels!
